This is similar to our tradicional serbian food (we have 3 tipes: with sauerkraut, with dried paprika or with leafs from grapes). Good to know for raw version 😊
Dolma in turkish (we take this dish from them) :). The best version for me is with dry paprika (can also with fresh paprika). But I try for sure your recipe in every 3 version because miss them now on raw :). 🙂
OMG!!! I didn't get through whole recipe! I made the Cauliflower and the sauce and went to town, it was delicious! I will say, I don't see the point in freezing the cabbage... maybe thats because it didn't make it to the dehydrator

@@TheRawAdvantage I'm looking at your borscht recipe. I have a question about the frozen vegetable mix (carrot, cabbage, onion). You say to take a serving of the frozen veggies and let thaw 6-8 hours. How much is a serving? Are we saving some of the vegetables in the freezer for future soups or by a serving, do you mean to use all of the frozen veggies? Thanks!

omg omg sooo good, the texture of the vegetables so soft and tender.. its pure genius to use cabbage leaves, as the moisture from the vegetable seems to gather inside and not escape like with other dehydrated dishes, so it is really juicy when i bite into each roll.. oh man i only wanted to eat 1x but i ate 3 right away..

Awww thanks so much for the love shared, apologies for taking so long, I hope you figured it out. I am actually using one right now but Unsure the exact dimensions, with the handles they are the width of a Excalibur tray, or just a smidge smaller. Let me know and if you wish I can measure it. Thanks for the support, so happy you enjoy, humbled and honoured 🙏🏼 happiest of holidays to you and yours ❤️
Hi there, I just made these. Couple of questions How can you tell which cabbage will work best? The one I picked out had a lot of the white layers that we really hard to roll. I didn't use much of the cabbage for this reason and made huge rolls. Second question is when should I eat them? Are they better if they sit longer? Does the cabbage get softer as it sits?
Blessings Jenn, I’ve typically just used a standard white cabbage. The most important thing is that it’s super fresh and crispy, farmers market is best but either way as fresh as possible. After freezing at least 12+ hours and then thawing that’s about as tender as it will get. The fresher higher water content the cabbage was the more tender it will be. Hope this helps and you enjoy them again and again 🤗💚
I did prep already! So, I'll post when they are done. I am allergic to tomatoes, or at least, highly sensitive to them, so I am using a different 'sauce'
These look amazing Chris! Unfortunately, I have a tomato sensitivity so cannot try the recipe as is. How do you think it would work with red bell peppers instead? Or do you have any other substitution suggestions? Thanks in advance!

If you want to soak nuts, then do it before grinding. Whole nuts will have active sprouting enzymes which starts biochemical reactions like turning phytate content into bioavailable phosphorus.
Also you can grate the cauliflower if ypu dont have a food processor and just smash the walnuts in a bag and a towel or even use a blender or a mortar and pestle or a coffee grinder!

If the temp is kept below 118, some say 115, then it’s simply removing water without heating to a degree that causes enzymatic damage equated with cooking. Fresh is best but dehydrated foods can be a smaller but healthful part of a raw diet.
@@TheRawAdvantage I will!! I’m about 90% raw these days. Just eating quinoa and some cooked veggies still. Love my butternut squash! We grow it in the garden and i don’t wanna give that up. So sweet and good!! You have any butternut recipes? I heard of some ppl eating them raw but I dunno lol 😂
@hadarahbatyah that’s super awesome! Some of the nicest cooked veggies, butternut was one of my faves. I don’t have any specific recipes, I know a few who put them in sauces etc which can be nice, I used to mostly just make butter out squash soup when I had it.🙌🏼
Indeed, the classic definition of raw for culinary cuisine is keeping the temp below 118. Fresh is always going to be best but kept at or below this temp is considered raw. Also, there is a difference in nutrition and digestibility when something is partly dehydrated or dehydrated fully. Hope this helps 🙌🏼
I never thought eating vegan was gonna be easy until i tried this💜

Pleasure n please do! Watch out for a huge update to the app soon, like within a week or two max!
@@TheRawAdvantage Yes, I will! Btw. your beautiful recipe-videoes on the app doesn't have any sounds.. I don't know if its my phone or the app. :) Just a heads up! Much love
Hope You enjoy them all, that’s strange on the app, I just checked on my phone and my dads ipad and all seem good to me, make sure you don’t have the switch on the side of your phone off, let me know.
Looks delicious.
Question:
Is it truly raw when you dehydrate it? The temperature is slighty cooking the food...right?
If the temp is kept below 118, some say 115, then it’s simply removing water without heating to a degree that causes enzymatic damage equated with cooking. Fresh is best but dehydrated foods can be a smaller but healthful part of a raw diet.
@@TheRawAdvantage ok. That makes sense.
Looks REALLY good :) Yum!
Hope you try em!!
I don’t have any specific recipes, I know a few who put them in sauces etc which can be nice, I used to mostly just make butter out squash soup when I had it.🙌🏼
@@TheRawAdvantage okay cool 😎 thanks for responding 😌 appreciate it!
@hadarahbatyah pleasure! Reach out anytime🤗🤗
how did you do it without the dehydrator? can I put my oven on low and keep the door cracked open
Indeed you can try! 🙏🏼
What food processor do you have? Any recommendation?
I’m sorry I am not well versed with food processors and just use whatever I’ve come across. I’d rely on amazon ratings / googling for reviews.
Where'd you get the Peace, love fruit stickers?
+Annette Jones ohh I make em! They are free with every purchase in my shop or one can get them in packages too :) TheRawAdvantage.com/shop :)
Question: if you dehydrate it is it still a raw product?
Indeed, the classic definition of raw for culinary cuisine is keeping the temp below 118. Fresh is always going to be best but kept at or below this temp is considered raw. Also, there is a difference in nutrition and digestibility when something is partly dehydrated or dehydrated fully. Hope this helps 🙌🏼
@@TheRawAdvantage thank you I am trying to do raw but really did not understand the concept of it fully so thank you for responding so quickly
@@vicToryousVegan more than my pleasure 🙏🏼
