    I made this a couple of days ago and it is amazing. All the time they were dehydrating they smelled just like falafel and they even tasted like any other falafel that I have tried.
    I had sprouted too many chickpeas so I made a lemon and cilantro hummus with them and yum!

    • @TheRawAdvantage
      @TheRawAdvantage  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Amanda May so stoked you love them too! Ahh it's a trip hey, they do smell n taste legit! Love sprouted chickpea hummus too, I often blend it 1 part chickpea to 2 parts zucchini to ease digestion

    You are so funny and fun to watch! That turkey noise you made, made me laugh. I've watched, and gotten a lot of your free recipes from your website and your you tube channel, that I cannot wait to try out! :) Specifically, the cabbage rolls, and your deluxe best raw pizza recipe. I particularly, appreciate the fact that all your recipes are oil and salt free, as I want to eliminate those permanently from my life! I just got done doing a 70 day raw, organic, strained juice fast, with a few water fast days thrown in there, and I'm on day 5 of my refeeding, with high water content fruits. I want to transition, successfully, from a whole food (mostly) vegan diet to a raw vegan diet. I will try out your cabbage rolls with sour cream, raw borscht, and raw cinnamon roll recipe this Christmas :). You are amazingly creative, and all your recipes look DELICIOUS! If they come out tasting as good as I intuitively feel they will, I will for sure support you guys and buy 1-2 of your paperback recipe books! THANK YOU for sharing with everyone!

    Awesome recipe! Got to try those out. Chris, do you think I could use my oven to dry them? Don`t have a dehydrator yet. I am thinking of setting my oven on the lowest heat and leave the door a bit open. Greetings from Germany, Christina

    • @TheRawAdvantage
      @TheRawAdvantage  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Christina Hees I hope you love them!!! If your oven is gas powered then the heat from the pilot light even works! If not and you want to avoid cooking you would need turn it on and off quite a bit, that said if your medium relaxed with it I would bet it would work. Let me know

    When I make falafel balls, at least half get eaten in the soggy ball stage! They are just so tasty as they are. But I agree a nice crunchy crust is the finest finishing touch!

    • @TheRawAdvantage

    Is it normal for raw vegans to eat legumes?? Was your hummus made with legumes?

    • @TheRawAdvantage
      @TheRawAdvantage  7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Alison Harriot for some yes, others no. Some believe they are a hugely important part of a raw diet while others think they are largely unnecessary. This all said I used sprouts garbanzo beans, in small quantities I enjoy them but for sure not a staple. Sprouted lentils imho digest much better, I have em a few times a year for specific dishes as I enjoy.

    Ok, so the recipe came out amazing to me, thank you very much. However, probably due to the combination of chickpea, my urine suddenly yellow. It should be noted that I am 80 10 10. My question is, what is the difference between a hummus and a roasted potato in the sun?

    • @TheRawAdvantage
      @TheRawAdvantage  7 ปีที่แล้ว
