Lucas can only attack after the Masked Man almost kills Flint, which is another great detail!

I really hope the prototype rom of Mother 3/EarthBound 64 will be made into a full rom hack a lot like what was done with the Pokemon Gold 97 space world demo
What made me very happy [as of the 13 - minute - length] is that one game changed "Poo" to "Pu" as it was meant to be [as far as I've learned.] they did my boy right.
This is by far the best E3 2021 presentation! Jokes aside, I'm really impressed that this community got to the level of making all these amazing fan games that we can play and giving us a full-on presentation, this demonstrates pure passion and dedication. I hope that all these projects are a success and that we as fans may be able to play them in the near future.
A lot of these games are looking really interesting. I'm excited to take a look at Lifelike, seeing as I got to see an early build of the game when I met one of the developers a while back.

@@lpschaf8943 it's pretty obvious that the games that you said where "cringefests" where just like two or three games that had animal characters in them and where also not even close to half of the games shown, even if the games where made by furries you don't have to be all mean about it, heck, who knows they are all still in development so we might see them looking diffrent in the future (also from what i saw they where pretty obvious in their inspirations, perhaps they might have been inspired by the mother series in different ways such as in game mechanics or in story so it does'nt always have to be in a purley visual way all the time.)

Earthbound was a game that while I wasn’t around for its release still worked it’s way into my childhood and really shaped the types of games I love even today, and seeing this direct really showed me how strong this fandom will forever be and even left me in tears of joy by the end Thank you and congratulations to everyone who was featured and I look forward to playing your games when they are complete!
Wow, I almost closed the video because I'm a kinda new mother fan and I'm in the middle playing through Earthbound (or rater the restored and re-translated Mother 2) for the first time after falling in love with the first mother game a couple years back and didn't wanna get spoiled by the really cool animated "retelling" of Earthbound in the end... but glad I didn't cuz that final trailer at the end looked so wild! MOTHER² huh? Many of the fan games/Mother inspired games shown here (LIFELIKE, Oddventure and [OPT-OUT]: Uncanny also looked amazing and was some really cool games I didn't know about) but MOTHER² and Mother Encore looks unreal..! Good Job on making this really great presentation!

Honestly look more towards stuff like this every year more than I have E3 for quite some time now. No runarounds, pure passion for the medium and games that i'm actually interested in even if I might not play all of these. Truly glad all of the people that were involved in this exist and are doing something truly awesome as I (and many others) would be rather put out without all of this. Also, really looking forward to F3 next month.
I really wish there was a version of Mother 2 Deluxe that left the script and sprites alone, man. I so want to check out those dope new mechanics, without being force-fed a "fixed" localization. Definitely checking out Oddventure, Lifelike, Soma Union & Almari, though O O and holy cow Opt-Out looks... horrifyingly intriguing. It makes me super uncomfortable in a fascinating way, like if Hylics met Jack Stauber also _definitely_ picking up Motherish when it's done, that looks _sick_
