10 out of ten for being honest and including you partner in the installation.
Congrats on your purchase, great looking rig!
Love the brindle bullies !
It’s so nice bro
We bought the 72 Walkabout before the Armadillo style became available. I think out of all RTTs, 23zero's quality seems to be on the higher end despite it being made in China.
Sweet rig and setup
Great video! Looking at getting one of these. Love your rig too!
SICK TRUCK MATE!! I went with the 1400 dakota based mainly on price and wanting to get the new free standing awning, love their products!
Great video, thank you :)
Nice Brah!
Using power tools is not recommended. The bolts and Nylok nuts are stainless and can seize up if you use power tools. If you have a nut seize or you strip out the load spreader slider plate you will have to cut the bolt off. Hand tools only!!! Also remember to check the mounting nuts and bolts frequently during trips. Don't forget to check the nuts and bolts if you leave the tent on year round. Check them when you change your oil if not sooner. Adjust the ladder from top down not bottom to top.
Seesh that green mica
Nice rig and the tent looks great on there. Quick question for you- how far apart are the rails on the bottom of the tent that the bolts are threaded into? I have CBI overland bars, that are 3.25" thick, so im curious if the plates would work for that as well?
The rails on the bottom of the tent are 27 1/2” center to center of each other. 3 1/4” is the biggest the hardware will work with. That’s the thickness of mine as well.
@@THFOffroad thanks for the quick reply. This is probably the route I'll go then since your cross bars are the same thickness and without issues. Thanks again!
Hey mate, how does it go with storing bedding inside? I usually use two pillows and a moderately thick blanket in my current rooftop tent but it doesn’t close. Do you reckon that would fit closed up in the armadillo X?
Good question! I’ve only closed it up with sheets in it. I just figured it wouldn’t and had the blankets and pillows in the cab. Something I need to try. Would save a lot of space
Little update, I took it out camping this weekend and tried putting two pillows and two medium sized blankets in it and close it up. Fit no problem. Just don’t lay the blankets where the tent folds and you’ll be just fine
@@THFOffroad Thanks for the update!
Where did you purchase the tent from?
Directly from 23zero. I linked it. Found a coupon code online as well
Is your truck a 5 foot bed or 6 foot bed ?
5ft
