Wow, your childhood sounds like there were some pretty tough parts to it. My mom grew up without much money and only now at 71 is she getting comfortable letting things go.
Thank you for your empathy ❤️ It seems like your mom has had quite a journey. It's wonderful that she's finding comfort and learning to let things go now!
I absolutely agree! I used to feel the same way. I kept a bunch of items because I had already invested so much in them, even though it made me feel bad. And it definitely felt like a punishment.
Hi Katya, thank you for this inspiring video! :) I am in the process of decluttering and replacing items with high-quality pieces, that I truly love (especially clothes.) The hoodies you showed in the video looked really great so I wanted to ask you where they are from and if you can recommend them? 🌷 Sending love from Germany
Hi there! Thank you so much for your words, I'm glad you found the video inspiring! 😊 It's great that you're on a journey to declutter and surround yourself with high-quality items. Good luck with that! The hoodies I showed in the video were actually made by my mom's friend, so unfortunately, they're not available for purchase:( I've been to Berlin, by the way! It was one of the best trips I've ever had:)
Yay, decluttering mode is on!
Thank you for your support of getting motivated. It's essential. ❤
Thank you for your words! They mean a lot ❤️

@@ohdearkatyaI agree: Experience of poverty is a great obstacle for decluttering.
Thank you. Something about how you spoke, spoke to me.
Glad to hear that something in my words resonated with you. It means a lot to me!
Just found you and I love your videos. New subscriber here 🙋🏽♀️ Greetings from Czech Republic ❤️
Thank you, Adriana! And welcome:)
I just love the Czech Republic. I've been to Prague 6 or 7 times!
Wonderfully explained. Thanks for all the perspectives..
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it:)
I wonder if we punish ourselves for sunk cost by making ourselves keep the item "to get use from it". That's something to look at.
