I have often thought that in the off chance I ever do a knitting podcast, it would include reviews of past knits. The sweater from 10 years ago I've mended multiple times, the one where I liked the yarn more than I liked the sweater, so I reknit it, the first pattern I made from a designer I now love, etc.
@@barnabyknits😂😂I’m just wrestling with my conscience because I have been trying to resist their Socktober special skein and now I have your pattern (and love the colours you used) I know I’m sunk! I only have so much self control when the yarn fumes (even the virtual ones) start to get to me!!❤❤
Went to Ravelry and guess who came up! Yay, for your pattern. Sorry to hear about your knee. 😒 Rest Wish I could show you my recent spin named "I smell children"
Thank you! We are singing the Victoria Requiem (4-voice version). We were supposed to sing Durufle, but the organ's combination action broke, which (you might already know this) means the organist can't change stops electronically, so Durufle is pretty much out of the question until it gets fixed. But Victoria is a lot less physically taxing so I am not complaining even though musically it's a lot less fun!
Oh my goodness. Yes prayers for your knee! Thank you love your humor . you make me laugh and you make me think! good qualities, Emma ttfn
Thank you so much - it is feeling better every day, which is great! I am doing a good job at putting ice on it regularly. Have a wonderful week.
I'm an Unmotivated Katherine! But seriously, love this week's episode. I always learn something new, and enjoy all the woolly goodness.

It's a very good idea! I would totally love to hear people talk about that kind of thing!
Great episode. Take care and relax between the many events this week. 🇬🇧
Thanks for the spinning recap!
Pull the fiber through the hole, by sticking the wire through the hole and then put the fiber through the space between the wires and pull
I have just gone to purchase your lovely cowl pattern. I love the John Arbon yarns, particularly the Harvest Hues and I can’t wait to knit it. ❤❤
Thank you so much!! I also absolutely love their yarns. I maaaaaay have ordered a huge pile of tops two days ago. Maybe.

Also…you are trying not to buy fibre that needs dyeing, right?! ❤
I enjoy your podcast. Was hoping you would be wearing your Rhinebeck sweater to show us! Please do next time?
Oh! Yes! That is a great idea. Thank you for the reminder to actually put it on!
Loved all the spinning info. I am working on my drafting with a drop spindle
It definitely takes a lot of concentrated practice, but once it clicks, it feels so good!
Pour Scour also comes in scents like lavender, I get it if scent sensitive.
That is an amazing tip, thank you very much!!

Ha! I will have to look that up. What a great name and so seasonal! Now you've reminded me that I need to watch Hocus Pocus!
I love the look of the blue from your stash- can't wait to see the project. Whose Requiem are you singing?
