I need some advice please someone lol. I had always wanted to have a double bass kit so I bought a new Green Burst ddrum dominion kit last year and added a second 20x22 kick. I then added a full Gibralter rack system. Well, after spending the money on my new kit and then adding the rack,clamps,and boom arms, etc I was at the end of my drum budget and I couldn't get new cymbals, so I'm still playing the ultimate pack of Meinl HCS series cymbals that I've had for a few years now.. Well after begging for a few months now, my wife finally caved in and gave me the go ahead. I'm looking at either getting the Brilliant finish Meinl Classics Customs Ultimate pack for $1049 or buying the Zildjian S Series Performer pack and adding to it 15, 17, and 19 inch S series Crashes along with some S series Splashes and Chinas, and later on start adding A customs here and there. So my question is, which would be the better decision,go with the Brilliant Meinl Classics Customs Ultimate pack? Or go with the Zildjian S Series and add on A customs down the road? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I'd go with the zildjians they have some very good cymbals for metal and see if you can find stuff second hand to can get a customs for half the price.
