So when you download Eris from the 1gb drive to the 256gb usb, I noticed you left the 256gb in the powered hub. Could you use the OTG cable earlier instead, despite you bringing the OTG cable after you booted up Eris when you had the 256gb in the powered hub in the video?
When I get my compatible usb I'll try the method I asked and will update my findings because I lack a powered hub lol thank you though for the help.@@allgenerationsgamer
Same here. I was able to get it the first time but when I switched FAT32 format to NTFS and plugged back in I get the regular Home Screen with the 20 games. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
So I’m having trouble using a Bluetooth wireless controller and since I’m just gaming on the couch I figure screw it, let’s just go with a controller extension. I read someone recommended the basic Amazon basics extension cables. It’s a good price. Main question..do I grab the 2.0 or 3.0 version of the cables. This is for the PlayStation classic . Your video helped me so much set up my system and I’m playing games now , just trying to figure out the controller issue
When i trying to insert project eris into my ps classic It comes say "ui db could not create regional database" And then it shut off. What should i do?
I couldn’t find the one I’m using but this one is also fine: www.amazon.nl/LogiLink-UA0085-4-Port-voeding-zwart/dp/B003ECC6O4/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?adgrpid=100580453642&hvadid=471031117393&hvdev=m&hvlocphy=9103364&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=15059627299303326361&hvtargid=kwd-320984974682&hydadcr=3613_2139374&keywords=usb+hub+met+voeding&qid=1697099204&sr=8-5
Do any of you know if there's a setting or a script to bypass this screen on startup and go straight into Project Eris. I'm just using this as a Playstation Classic so I don't need Retroarch or Emulation Station.
So I followed your process step by step but now when I use the 256gb drive it’s slow to start up games and often freezes for a second while playing. Didn’t have this issue using a 32gb drive. Any ideas as to why?
It didn't work. I did it exactly how you said and the software didn't boot on my PSX Classic. I don't have a powered hub for a Micro SD card. Does is have to be a Micro or can it be a standard flash drive? I am autistic with ADHD and struggle with instructions.
Hi Michael, what do you mean by the SD Card, you have to use USB stick and for some USB sticks a powered hub is needed otherwise exactly like you said the software will not start.
same issue here. when it creating the kernel, it stucks and said "Running on FAT32 is Not supported! Backup USB to PC, reformat and copy back over to proceed!" But my usb is already in FAT32
@retrogamesroom1 not the second one. we used the FAT32 format USB to flash the kernel and the process is stuck and it shows the message that I mention before.
@@jessicalynn4668 I don't know for sure. I'm just assuming an emulator will play it. I haven't tried much with PS1 ROMs, but for SNES emulators they do. I installed Hakchi on my SNES mini and I want to play some homebrews on it. Since they play on my PC with emulation it should work on the SNES mini. I figure the Playstation should be the same.
What to do for Multi-duscs games? Can I put everything into the "transfer" file? Also some PS1 games have multiple tracks with the BIN file, should I dump everything onto "transfer" file?
wow love your game room setup bro very sleek
Appreciate it!
Easy for you 😂🎉 but hey, thank you for the tutorial ❤
how abt a link to the listed items to buy
Yes please I would really like to replicate this build! Please 🙏
I formatted my USB drive to FAT32, and it said FAT32 USB, not supported.....

I’m not sure, I followed the steps from modmyclassic website!

I did everything right and plugged it in and no change in ps1 classic lights. It just booted up like normal. Plz help
Which format did you format the USB. And what USB hub are you using?
Same here. I was able to get it the first time but when I switched FAT32 format to NTFS and plugged back in I get the regular Home Screen with the 20 games. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Make sure thumb drives is named SONY
Brought a second one of these just to try it. Can you save your progress in the games you play?
Yes, multiple save slots!

Great that it worked out for you!🎮 About the controller extension it’s important to use a cable that supports data transfer and 2.0 is just fine!
Is it just mine that takes forever to load up ?
When i trying to insert project eris into my ps classic
It comes say
"ui db could not create regional database"
And then it shut off.
What should i do?
Is the otg cable still needed if you don't intend on using the second controller?
when I downloaded a game, it says 500mb BIN file, will this work?
Bin/Que files are possible to use yes!
Where can you get games roms for ps1
He said it's not allowed to state where to get roms from.

For the USB hub with power supply- do the ports have to be 3.0 / 2.0? Or it doesn’t matter?
Doesn’t matter!

Which 256GB USB drive are you using? And how many games do you have in 1 folder?
It didn't work. I did it exactly how you said and the software didn't boot on my PSX Classic. I don't have a powered hub for a Micro SD card. Does is have to be a Micro or can it be a standard flash drive? I am autistic with ADHD and struggle with instructions.

@@allgenerationsgamer That's ok. I used Autobleem instead which actually worked and didn't require a Powered Hub.
How can i do mame games & psp games
didn't work on the classic said format was not supported, even though I formatted my usb
Formatted which with format? The first USB has to be formatted with FAT32 and after modding you have to use a USB stick formatted with ExFAT
same issue here. when it creating the kernel, it stucks and said "Running on FAT32 is Not supported! Backup USB to PC, reformat and copy back over to proceed!"
But my usb is already in FAT32
@@k4kson yeah couldn't of summed it up better myself
The second USB stick has to be ExFat not Fat32!
@retrogamesroom1 not the second one. we used the FAT32 format USB to flash the kernel and the process is stuck and it shows the message that I mention before.
Will this work on Japanese PS Classic?
Yes there are all the same!
hoe doe ik alles met 1 USB?
Eerst met FAT32 gebruiken om te hacken daarna met NTFS om games toe te voegen.
Assuming this will play hacked ROMs like FF Tactics 1.3?
Did you find your answer? We are fixing yo jail break ours for FF tactics and Sim city 2

Yes exactly it can play any game because it's just an emulator!
Is dit nog steeds mogelijk?

Yes you can place everything in the transfer file!
Can you just do it for me, and ill buy the flash drive from you. Im having trouble
Me too
Only the flashdrive isn’t enough👎 the console has to be modded
Why the hell would you use Eris wh3n autobleem is king
I like to keep it simple with only PlayStation games, Project Eris perfect for that
where can I download the games for free
Illegal.
Instead, you gotta manually backup your own disc copies on the PC, I use ImgBurn for the process.
Vimms lair
That's something you have to figure out yourself
Can you do video to unhack the ps1 classic
It's actually a little bit confusion
Dutch people have the funniest accents when speaking English... So do Turkish people... Right Em?
hehe you pronounce gigabyte like doc brown
I'm a big fan, so it's ok🤣
oeeh , you got the slow flashdrive
bought 2 of these , but went back to ma Samsung fit drives
goede man!!!
