After surgery and a series of scans, I was diagnosed this past January with stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastasized to a bone in my pelvis. Your song has helped carry me through--especially through the nights when I wake to the thought that I have terminal cancer. Thank you, Christa! I love the words of the bridge, "Oh, I see you laughing on the other side." For me, it could be the other side of this illness, or it could be the other, other side.
