This record is great for finding music fans - the most self-centered people alive. Ghostly Kisses is french Canadians Margaux Sauvé and Louis-Étienne Santais. - their name came from reading William Faulkner's poem 'Une ballade des dames perdues'.
Once again, the present is marooned without the past.
Ths album is downright, absolutely perfect beyond words.
Your music found me -- falling asleep to something else entirely and waking up to hear your melodic, mysterious music luring me back to conscious thought long enough to commit your name to memory before sinking back into dreams of ghostly kisses.
I wish I had known this beautiful album earlier, but that's the magic in it. Looking at the uploaded date, I can safely assume that this masterpiece was fully developed by the month of October, which is not so far off.
This sedated feeling evoked from this album especially, The City Holds My Heart, holds me an embrace that reminds me of my favourite season, Autumn. Skies that are gloomy would match the ambience of this album, but it makes me happy. A very contradicting effect of imagery and emotions - all the more reason to fall in love.
