The cross is bad because when Jesus Christ died on the cross, all of our sins were forgiven. But, when it was forgiven, all of our sins were put on the cross. Yet people are even worshiping the cross and not god. But amen I love this song!!

January 24 is the day an 18 year old boys life has ended... he was a close family friend of ours and on the viewing day this song played. This boy was very smart and hard working but unfortunately all of the bad stuff in this world got over him and took his life. We hope that everyone that reads this will be encouraged to stay strong and be with God and he will be with us. This is a lesson that everyone should learn, stay away from drugs, alcohol they all lead to bad things eventually like this I hope many people read this and understand. When ever we hear this song playing it reminds us of him and also reminds us to keep going strong and good. Thank you and God bless everybody🙏

5 years later my oldest brother they old died young and all to drugs and alcohol
All to the spirits that are in those bottles

JESUS came died on a cross to defeat death and HE did
It is FINISHED!
But we can shorten our days here

Michael, you young man, have been anointed by God to write the songs you have written. I'll be 73 years old come august and only one other song in my life in my life have I felt the power of God in a song until this one came along. That other song was "it is well with my soul". That song was born out of tradgedy but this one was born out of hope for us all. I have been in bands most of my life but not in christian music. I was saved when I was 32 yrs old. That's when I started listening to christian music. This song just jumps out at me and fills my heart with excitement. The other song I told you about makes me realize how strong His promise is. God sent it to me when my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. Long story but I can see his hand prints on her all the way through from her diagnosis to her complete healing. That happened in september 1984 and she has been cancer free ever since. God is real and alive and well and still on the job for us. We're praying for you Michael and look forward with much excitement to hear from you again. God bless your wonderful heart. Keep the faith and keep going.......Jim
