Just got 48 Chrome Tour from Amazon for £127 , will be giving them a go in the morning.
Been looking for the Tour X in TT360 and have yet to see any. Def looking forward to testing them though.

Just finished my own testing between my normal ball, Pro V1x and TP5, TP5x, Tour Chrome, and Tour Chrome X. Longest off the tee and fairway was the TP5x by a fair margin. However, it felt horrible putting and short game. Didn’t perform well in the short game. The Chrome Tour X has been the clear winner in the short game. Feels and rolls great while putting and has superior spin around the green. Ball has consistently been within a couple feet of landing spot on all 9i and higher lofts. Trajectory and control on longer shots has been great as well. While it isn’t as long as the TP5x, the Chrome Tour X wins out. Pro V1x has officially been replaced in my bag.
I love the TourX....but it spins WAY too much off the driver for me.

How do the two balls compare for durability which is a big factor for club golfers?
I just finished testing them myself. See my post above. Ref durability, I did find the Pro V1x, my gamer for last couple of years, held up better than the Chrome Tour X when it comes to hitting things like golf cart paths or rocks. Good hit on a golf cart path, and the Callaway ball will show it more than the Titleist. I’m still switching to Callaway because the performance.
great review, which is your gamer now? seems chrome tour was overall winner for you, longest off driver and still short game control?
More testing needed over the next few weeks as the courses dry out in the UK. However Chrome Tour performed very well...
in nz theyre 110 a doz theyre ridiculously expensive at that price you can get 2 dozen of mid range balls

I’ll stick to prov1x. It’s not about distance if it was I be using left dash pro v1x.

28 callaway tour players,37% changing to chrome tour ,well that would be around 10.and not all of those play woods and irons.will that really make you go out and buy a dozen? What was your swing speed on all shots without that there is NO comparison
Got some Chrome Soft LS after playing pretty well with one I found in the woods but we just never seemed to get along on course. Now I'm playing a colored golf ball to speed things up a bit. I like these but would prefer a glossy orange or green triple track.
Whatever you play, stick to one model because the difference between models can be 5 or 10 yds. That could be an eagle hole-out or a 3 putt.
Call me crazy but audio alone…I actually preferred the sound of the Chrome Tour on the pitch shots outside
Not crazy at all! It's all about personal preference, maybe the Pro V1 is just what Georgina is used to...
I have only used dtc premium balls from vice and seed as simply can’t justify £50 per dozen. I now use Bridgestone e12 contact as they perform brilliantly for almost half the price of these balls

None of these balls fit me, and even if they did, I wouldn't pay the price. Still, an interesting video. Thanks Georgina.

no price difference in the US. How was durability? I could scuff or nick a Chrome Soft X much easier than a Pro V1X, and I don't swing fast.
I've watched many reviews about high end balls and I don't understand why anybody cares about what a ball sounds like. It' shoukd always be about the end result....performance.
Callaway has been beating Titleist for several years. Prov1 is the most overrated thing in golf and most of the guys buying them buy them because that's the only ball they hit in 20 years.
Titleist hater, nothing to see here.

Name one tour player who plays a callaway ball that is not on Callaways tour staff ?
Will definitely test them I play the ProV1X & will test the Callaway chrome tour X but won’t pay the extra £5 (think Callaway have made a massive mistake making them more expensive than ProV1s) think they’ll have to bring the price down to the same🤔, Any thoughts Thanks Dickey 9hcp 76year senior golfer
