YES! More bullet journal/journaling/planner related content would be wonderful! I keep my own version of a bullet journal and have for years. It's always inspiring to see others adapt the method to their lifestyle and what they have found to be helpful.
Yes please. I used to journal 20+ years ago... Maybe 30+. Wow. I don't take time anymore. I could really help me be more timely and positive. Thanks for the prompt and great video. As usual.
Yaaaas! I often rewatch your old bullet journal and journaling videos because I really like the style you use when you talk about journaling. I would be all for more journaling videos, and very curious about your idea for 'the perfect journal'.
Elsa, I think your own personal style of Journaling is brilliant! If you could create a template Journal I'd be more than happy to buy a few for friends and family. Love the idea 😉
Wilber Peabody mentioned how soothing your voice is. Absolutely right on! I couldn’t agree more!! I could watch you speak & listen to you for hours; you just have an exceedingly pleasant, kind voice that oozes #love and #gratitude. Thank you for that.✌🏼
Wow you really go in depth. I used to write often but today I only write occasionally. I love writing my troubles, it really seems to help me a lot. ❤️🌻
Yes please! Im a huge fan of planners, adventuring, and things to do with the moon. I've tried many different planners over the years but haven't found the holy grail yet lol. I look forward to more reviews and the eventual reveal of your own planner in the future.
Thanks Elsa. I needed this. I got away from my home made Journal pages and tried to do electronic and I realized that I didn’t take the tiny amount of time needed to do the electronic one. So now I am drawing out my old monthly sheet I was using. I did the homemade ones for about 6 months consecutively but couldn’t get 5 days with the electronic one. Now I’ve got to reconcile my minimalistic lifestyle and ideals with a physical thing but at least I experimented and now know what works and what doesn’t.
I started my own bullet journal immediately after viewing your first bullet journal video. I also didn't feel the most creative but after searching Pinterest I found some design ideas blended with how you did yours and I was hooked! I was a full time truck driver, so I moved around A LOT. Unfortunately due to unforeseeable circumstances I had to leave that job and move quickly to Texas. I am currently trying to update my journal and was stuck on how to move forward now, and then you made this video. Thank you! I needed it more than you know. 💗 about to set this phone down, grab my ruler and get to work!
Elsa I love your journal videos, I have always journaled but you were the one that introduced me to bullet journaling and I have since filled 2 dingbat journals and gifted dingbat journals to my favorite people who journal. I took away more wonderful ideas with this video to incorporate in my journaling in the coming days. I have recently retired and am a full time RVer and have visited many places in the short time we have started and I want to make sure I am documenting all of the wonderful places and thoughts that I am experiencing. I can't wait for more of your ideas and reviews on journals. Thank you Elsa!
Yes yes yes please. I love your journals that you created best. I love your simple structure and formats. I would love for you to do a short class for beginners to be able create the first one you designed. It seemed to contain all the needed information including monthly journaling. You have a talent and gift to share…please do.
I love your journal videos! Iv never kept a life style or tracking journal before but I do have one for my gardens and animals we breed. I love being creative and aspir to make my vegetable journal more beautiful and organized so your videos inspire me a lot THANK YOU
There are journals you can get and read of some interesting people too. From time to time I am reading the journals of the Trappist monk Thomas Merton. There are seven volumes and time range from 1939 till his death in 1968. Not always easy reading because he often has phrase references in Latin or French but still gives insight on where his mind was. This is the case of any journal. It’s where we are on that day. Elsa your journals are quite artistic too. They will be something to ponder even now or when you are an old woman some day. I’m 75 and was an active commercial pilot and instructor years ago. Often I review my old logbooks as flight journals stirring memories of past adventure flights from Key West to Canada and as Bob Dylan said in “Bob Dylan’s Dream”, “Concerning myself and the first few friends I had.” Great video Elsa! 👍🏻
Yay!! This is a favorite topic of mine. I’m 64, retired because of a back injury (did it at home. I wasn’t smart enough to do it at work! Lol). Anyway, I can’t go out hiking or camping in a tent because of my back. But I Scrapbook, make my own Art Journals, made some for friends. But I’m always worried if they’d understand my form of crazy Journal making. Also, last year I saw someone using a Sprocket and I wanted to get myself one. Then I forgot what it was called. I was so happy to see you using it. Anyway, make as many of these as you want. I will watch every one. I still watch your, hiking, cooking, traveling and I love the videos from Scamps (Camp?) point of view. Love that dog. Keep them coming!!♥️♥️♥️
Absolutely will love to see more journals and planner videos. I found your channel randomly years ago. I have learned soo much from you guys and found a lot of inspiration from your content. You have helped me a lot. Thank You Elsa and Barron.
Your bullet journal video you posted several years ago motivated me to get to journaling again. I've been journaling nearly every night (missing only 2-3 days a month) for over one year and using a lot of your tips. My journal has been very healing to me. I appreciate you for the inspirations. Thank you! Sending you hugs ❤
Yes to all the planner journals! I found your channel last year in August because of your bullet journal video, and stuck around because you, Barron and Kamp are pretty cool! Any video planner/journal related I'm all in for!
I really dig this video! I have never used bullet Journaling but am very intrigued! Thanks Elsa! Hope you and Barron are having an amazing week so far! 💜
Yup, it would be awesome to see more journal videos and thoughts. I have spent the last 6 years trying to find what fits me and I like seeing the journeys of others!
My favorite videos are about your journals!!! Your methods inspired me to start one and I'm almost finished my second this coming December. I love using the same tracking and charts you shared. It's so amazing to look through almost 2 full years of my bullet journals.
I love your journal videos. I have journaled for years but my formating is not nearly as creative as yours! I'm really wanting to tackle bullet journaling soon, inspired by you!
Yes Yes and Yes Please. Loved this. I would love one for those of us that don't have the creativity or much time to do the incredible one you do. One that is set up, easy to follow, takes 10-15 mins to do in morning with coffee before the mayhem of the day begins please. Thank you so much. P.S. Love the videos.
Very cool! I love my hiking journal that I bought while in yosemite. It's small and fits in your backpack easily. The set up is simple: Location, date, weather/elements, trails or routes, sightings/terrain and notes/experiences/happenings/events. It's from "write it down" series, with journals unlimited. I also keep a craft journal, mostly for knitting. I love your format and think you should make your own version! Thank you for sharing. Blessings-
Yes, please, Ms. Elsa! I'd love to tune in as always if you'd make videos on journals and journaling even more. I've learned about FAM and keeping track of other relevant things for me from one of your videos.
Yep…. More videos on journaling, please. Also, you voice and how you explain is so calming and so easy to understand. And you take your time! You guys are great!!
Please share more.. this was informative and inspiring. I loved it and immediately ordered 3 of the Jen Simpson Breathe journals. One for me and the other two are gifts for two of my favorite people. Thanks, Kay from Augusta Georgia.
Yes! Please give us all the planner and journal content! I adopted a lot of your examples from your older videos and it helped me finally fall in love with bullet journaling. Would love to see more!
I have experienced so much trauma in my life, I'd love to see reviews on journals that promote growth reflecting on experiences as learning instead of tragedy. I love journaling but am not well-versed in it, I'll be here for any journal reviews you do, Elsa! 💜
I love journaling and all things related. I have never used a bullet journal but am fascinated with how yours is organized. I prefer a lined, spiral bound journal so that I can fold back the cover and used pages. I would love to see more journaling vlogs.
Yes please. I've purchased different yearly planners and separate blank journals. Too much work. I'm working towards full-time travel. Looking for place for goals. Where I want go, equipment I need, thoughts and dreams.
I'd LOVE and Elsa Journal! Count me in. I've tried implementing your suggestions but found it difficult to create new pages each month. I'd like to work on finding time to do this but alas....tiny humans require more time than I have in each day😂 I ordered an adventure journal from Jen. My cart was being tricky and I wasn't able to finalize my purchase. I called the number on her webpage and chatted with her directly. This made me smile and feel super connected. Awesome customer service. She's working with me directly to complete my order. Thank you for the recommendation! Love all you do. Keep being you. We like you. And your crew. Later sista!
I loved this. I'm a 59 year old man who's journaled off & on since his early twenties and it was one of your earlier journaling vids that eventually got me hooked on your channel. I envy your dedication & skill, yes to more of these, you have me psyched to get into this again 👍🙂
I would love more bullet journaling videos. I like to journal and your videos inspire me to write down things I wouldn’t even think to ❤️ Separate question: where do you buy most of your merino wool base layers?
I just ordered my first bullet journal this week after some research, and honestly your minimal style is what sold me on the idea in your original videos... Side note: Coincidentally, I also write in all caps, and seem to have picked the style up from my dad.
I've started my journal in 2019 and you gave me several ideas on what I want mind to look like and how it should function. Over time I narrow down to what works for me. Thank You for sharing and your advice. I will continue to create and modify my journal. Life is a Journey and should be kept on pages to relive the adventures of your life...Keep living Free and Live Life to the Fullness.
For nearly 20 years now, I have used a journal (of sorts) that I created. It's a 7 ring binder (old Franklin Planner) with a page for every day of the year. In the morning, I jot down the year followed by any significant event from the day before on that date's page. I don't write an entry for every day. I then turn the page and read what happened on this date in the past. I keep track of birthdays here too and it's fun to remind others of events that happened on that date in years past. I went with a binder style as some days (for some crazy reason) have been more eventful than others and I can add a second page when full. I've especially enjoyed reading when significant weather events have happened in the past. I slide ticket stubs or other things on pages sometimes as well, so this thing is about 3" thick. Just a thought for your journaling research.
I like these retrospectives about people's journaling changing. For what I need in my life right now I think the data heavy spread of your old journal is what I need, so I can get a better handle on myself and start improving my health. But what I love about bullet journals is it so easily changes as your needs change! Once you don't need something or need something more you can always change for your next spread!
I found you because of your first bullet journal. Since then, I stayed because I love the content you and Barron create! I would love to see more journals too!
I enjoyed this video and would love to see more of what you think about others! You’re really kind of the reason I became interested in bullet journaling.
Love these, Elsa!!! I want to get the Writual Planner for my coven of ladies :) thank you for sharing these and your beautiful bullet journal. I adore you and your journey.
Thank you for sharing your process, always interesting and inspiring to see others processes. I switched from paper to fully digital on my ipad however I know some really enjoy the pen on paper experience. I have a bullet and a journal but instead of adding physical things I take a pic of the item add to the page and toss mostly for space saving. I really enjoy hearing your insights and appreciate the honest perspectives on something so personal. Please continue this series, and in your future planner if you distribute mabye consider a digital option for your planner if possible.
I'm the worst at Journaling and planning, but have a real desire to learn to journal and be consistent. I hate wasting the money and not following thru with the process. It drives me nuts. I do like the journals you presented today. And, I'd enjoy more on the topic as long as it comes from you.
I’ve been journaling for many years and I really enjoy creating my own content. I am very interested in your journaling tips and your creativity. Thank you!
I loved this - oddly, the part about writing in all caps really struck a nerve. When I was a teen, I thought I wanted to be a draftsman of some sort. This was in the 70s. So we had to learn how to hand letter things legibly and with some standard and consistency. Writing in all caps (larger size being for that which you would normally capitalize) was how I was tought to efficiently communicate to the end user. Plus, it simplified things. I've almost forgotten how to write lowercase and cursive - I think both are cool, just not something I tend to use anymore. I love, love, love your hand skills/creativity.
Yes, definitely more journaling content! I think planner reviews would be awesome since there are so many different styles to choose from. I have attempted to start but become overwhelmed and just stop. Honestly anything you, Barron or Kamp put out is always interesting to me!
Love the bullet journal videos!! Can you talk about how you plan on storing all your notebooks as they collect? That’s one reason I fight between paper vs digital simply because I don’t want to lug a bunch of my old notebooks around with me! Thanks for sharing and doing what you do!!
My husband and I teach shadow work as a means of trauma recovery and journaling is a big part of it. I'll share this with my class because I think they'll love your methods and suggestions. Thank you!
Yes, i like your posts on journalling. I’d also like to hear more about your probiotic journey and how you work probiotics into your diet.. Love your videos.
This was so inspiring Elsa thank you for sharing! It’s a very vulnerable process and much appreciated to take your time and put in so much love. Very beautifully strung and got me ready to get a new journal going ❤️ I struggle with always feeling like I’m not organizing my ideas/thoughts enough and how messy the pages can get....it feels over stimulating to look back through memories when it’s not easy to digest physically. Leaves me scattered rather than meditating. I personally love mole-skins as well All my journals I’ve bought from a local art store that makes beautifully hand engrained art on the front cover and often has a little rusted clasp to close it. This gave me many ideas and I’ve never thought to look at other threads or models over journaling! It’s a real craft. ✨🙏🏻 -Much love from Oklahoma
Absolutely do more journal videos. For me, I just don’t know what to put in one. The ones your showed where it has the no dates and asks questions to help fill the journal in, that’s cool. I didn’t know they had ones like that. I’d love to see more.
I love having the journaling part of you just like all the other parts of who you and Barron are…just keep doing yourself…I also think you could create a very unique planner/ journal…love all you share.
My dad is also an all caps writer (engineer). I loved this look at your journal, I really fell out of it this past year but planning to start again with more daily journaling
I journal daily started a year ago and somedays its forced but other days it flows and I have found journaling is very therapeutic. You have such beautiful handwriting Elsa , your journals are lovely. This was fun , make more 👍❤️
YES! More bullet journal/journaling/planner related content would be wonderful! I keep my own version of a bullet journal and have for years. It's always inspiring to see others adapt the method to their lifestyle and what they have found to be helpful.
Awesome, thank you for the comment!
I agree loved this video and love the idea of bullet journaling but I’m not artistic enough to creat my own

Could not agree more!!

Yes. Please do make more. It’s helpful to see your reviews and ideas
I'm one of the people who requested this. Thank you for making an updated video!

I've been looking for a weekly journal for awhile now and appreciate the post! Thanks.
Yes, please, Ms. Elsa! I'd love to tune in as always if you'd make videos on journals and journaling even more. I've learned about FAM and keeping track of other relevant things for me from one of your videos.

I was glad she mentioned tarot in this video. Learning tarot and using tarot based prompts was very healing for me! 🙏💚
Okay!! Thank you for this! Take care 💖

Separate question: where do you buy most of your merino wool base layers?
I just ordered my first bullet journal this week after some research, and honestly your minimal style is what sold me on the idea in your original videos...
Side note: Coincidentally, I also write in all caps, and seem to have picked the style up from my dad.

For nearly 20 years now, I have used a journal (of sorts) that I created. It's a 7 ring binder (old Franklin Planner) with a page for every day of the year.
Yes please! I'm just dipping a toe into journaling so I really loved this!
I enjoyed this video so much. I journal as well and was intrigued by all the choices.
Love this! I too write in all capitals and because of my dad❤
I’d so LOVE for you to do more journal videos!!
This was so inspiring Elsa thank you for sharing!
It’s a very vulnerable process and much appreciated to take your time and put in so much love.
Very beautifully strung and got me ready to get a new journal going ❤️
I struggle with always feeling like I’m not organizing my ideas/thoughts enough and how messy the pages can get....it feels over stimulating to look back through memories when it’s not easy to digest physically. Leaves me scattered rather than meditating.
I personally love mole-skins as well
All my journals I’ve bought from a local art store that makes beautifully hand engrained art on the front cover and often has a little rusted clasp to close it.
This gave me many ideas and I’ve never thought to look at other threads or models over journaling!
It’s a real craft. ✨🙏🏻
-Much love from Oklahoma
I love this idea…I’ve never taken the time…but should….review on!
