I used to go to their house and play video games with OhNo. I had no idea that they made music until I was in high school when Lootpack came out with an album. Crazy because Madlib is my favorite producer ever!! And his rapping ain’t too bad too.

Madlib opened so much for me musically and emotionally with his breadth of samples from different eras. He really goes deep and brings them back to life again in his own way. It's so sad what ayalew went through as an artist and human being and the corruption ethiopians go through still today. Ethiopian creativity comes so much from their struggles, they are such colorful people love them

This is awesome! I love learning more about samples already so it was cool to see major artists encouraging it. You really find a lot good music that you've never would have heard unless you researched the samples.
Like litteraly can't even compare madlibs style with any producer out there, it's uniquely interesting that's what I would call it keeps me engaged in its rare ways
