@@justapotato88 thanks homie
potatoes, roast and carrots is my #1 comfort meal 😫 my mom used to make it for me for special occasions like exam day. i wanna try this recipe for her. it looks amazing
L❤❤oo
Yoo same 😂😂
Rip momma 🙏
Appreciate with food just hits different lmao
My mom makes some bomb ass pot roast. One of my favorite foods
As an Irishman this cost like £3 to make. All you have to do is buy the wine. We have the rest right in our backyard
Damn even the cow?!
Even the chuck roast lol
Y’all….. I made this for my husband tonight and DAMNNN was it good. Followed the recipe exactly as said except I left out the red wine since we didn’t have any. The meat was so tender and adding the carrots and potatoes at the last 1.5 hr left them intact but they absorbed the amazing broth. I’m drooling just thinking about it 🤤 thanks for this recipe.
what did you use instead of wine? I’m not 21 yet but i want to make this!
@@emmavesper6281 I just used extra broth to make up for it ☺️
Botatoes be bussin 🤤
I love this kind of stuff. This is one of my favorite comfort foods. Reminds me of eating after church on Sundays at my grandmas. She would do a pork roast a lot of times too.
Fallowed your recipe and made it today. It smells so good. Can’t wait to get it out of the oven!
That looks amazing ma boyy🤤
appreciate it
About to make this right now. I was looking for the right recipe. This is that one!! Thank you my kind sir!✌️💯😋
Very nice! I cooked about the same way! Hubby only allows me to put salt and pepper and mushroom and onions! Of course I’ll add lots of other ingredients cooked in the crockpot! Very tasty!!
Ill try it like this when i make it Saturday, i usually follow this exact recipe but without the whole garlic, bay leaves and rice, i also dont use the wine but ill try it, looks fire
'Take a lil sip no one has to know.' Had me dying also 1st
Caught me so off guard
Aye no one has to know though 🤷🏾♂️
Side sip
I want to make my boyfriend a meal when he comes back home from his trip and I'm going to make this!! It looks SO yummy.
Holy S*** this channel bangs
Just about added everything except celery. I didn't have any so instead I added a red sweet pepper. 🫑 It's in the oven and the house smells amazing. 🤩😍 Of course I will have white 🍚 rice 🌾 on the side for our Sunday dinner 🍽️😄
Already made this 3 TIMES!!!
So simple… And so good😊

Meal prep is gonna be delightful now for the winter :)
This was amazing!! Thank you, kids couldn’t get enough everyone went back for seconds.
Thank you. It’s so simple ❤
Bro my chuck roast just cost $35 by itself.
This is probably one of my mom's favorite meals. I would make this, this weekend if it weren't about to be Thanksgiving.. it's going to be left overs for the next week 😂 I'm going to have to go over there next weekend and make this for her. Her work schedule is insane this time of year and she has time for absolutely nothing. It will make her so happy! I love that you serve it with rice, I'm just not a potato person for some reason but sopping up all of that juice with rice, oh my goodness 🥰 Screenshotted to make!
Ty kindly. Cooking this tomorrow.... n your 3 hrs had me compared to everyone else 5hrs.
Leg of lamb this way and cooked it with red wine. Even cook my lamb chops with wine.
Now this the kind of meaI grew up on. I'm a 70's baby. Beans, cornbread, pot roast, ham hocks, potatoes, greens, baked chicken, rice, cornish hen etc. I'm a thickums😂
Thank you man for trying to find a decent recipe that doesn’t require seven hours of time
It is pot roast season! Sundays are the best to make this for the week!

Great stuff lad
Appreciate it
Looks delish. Next Sunday dinner. New subbie here.
4lb chuck roast for 13$
Yeah right
I got mine 3 lbs for 25$
3.5 pounds from Raley's for $30 for mine, but it looked 10X better than his. Still excited, and have it in the oven for the first 2 hours now.
The original price was $25 and some change. Look like he caught a sale.
It says 3.3lb at 4$ a lb on the package. So it's not 4lbs is why it's sounds so cheap.
I got my 3lb roast for about $19, so maybe prices are just different across the states?
Looks wonderful!
What kind of rice did you use? I was thinking buttered/salted/peppered jasmine rice 😊
Looks good my brother 👌🎉
Looks delicious.
Nice work!!!!!
That looks great
Yummy Tummy
Cooking this tonight
Bulk meal! Yes sir I appreciate it man
You gotta make a southern pot roast next
A 4lb chuck roast for $13? That's news to me.
He said $13 and it said $25 on the label 😂
@docbradleydc There was a sale label on it too, it's $13
Look for meat that has reached its "sell by" date. If you buy it on that day, there will be a substantial discount.
Grocery stores have meats on sale all the time. You just gotta catch the right ones.
@@docbradleydcyou do know stores can mark down prices right?
I literally love you like wtf
Hehe boi
Also this looks absolutely bangin
The man that popped up after he said run the meat got me weak😂😂😂
Definitely making this soon
"Yes I said botatoes with a b." I love it!!!!
This is how its done!
Just had this.meal last night mmm good
Looks nice mate.
Yes sir 👏
The full head of garlic with the root 💀
Do you squeeze it out afterwards or what? That's the only part I'm confused about.
Well made short! Also, so funny, yes I said potatoes with a ‘b’ 😂
Well done bro well done.
Very nice
What kind of red wine? A Cabernet? Or port? Or blend?
I was wondering the same thing. According to two reliable sites, Wine Folly and Tasting Table, Cabernet is the best one. I'm gonna go with that. Hope you give this recipe a try too.
Well he said dry! And as dry option Cabernet Sauvignon or merlots even a cheap Pinot Noir can do well
Hey this was really good but there was one problem when I got to the wine sipping part….. my mom grounded me
That looks good
Add cabbage
Take a little sip, no one needs to know. That's how it's done. That's life.
Good ol' rub 🤤
Classic meme
