  • Blood Donation Camp Organized by 112/Inf Bn (TA) DOGRA at Khundru Nowgam on 22/08/2024
    Khundru Nowgam, 22 August 2024: The 112th Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) DOGRA organized a successful blood donation camp at Khundru Nowgam on 22nd August 2024 as part of platinum jubilee celebrations of territorial army. The camp was inaugurated by the esteemed Principal of Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb and Commanding Officer(CO)of 112/inf Bn Dogra. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from volunteers, reflecting the community's strong commitment to the noble cause of saving lives.
    In her inaugural address, Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb emphasized the critical importance of blood donation and lauded the efforts of the donors who came forward to contribute to this life-saving cause. She also distributed certificates of appreciation to the donors, recognizing their selfless act of service to humanity.
    We extended our heartfelt gratitude to the following individuals whose support was instrumental in the success of this camp:
    Medical Superintendent, Deputy Medical Superintendent of GMC Anantnag, Transport Officer, Medical Officer (Stores), and Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Achabal. Their support and collaboration played a pivotal role in the successful execution of the camp.
    Special thanks are extended to the Commanding Officer (CO) of 112/Inf Bn (TA) DOGRA, Principal of GMC Anantnag, and the entire team at Associated Hospital Anantnag for their unwavering dedication and support ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.
