First successful intradural tumor (spinal Tumor) removal at GMC ANANTNAG#orthopaedics #gmcanantnag
Department of orthopaedics and spine surgery achieved another milestone yesterday when they successfully removed spinal cord (intradural) tumour at L1 level in a 45 year male patient with from Anantnag district.
This surgery was successfully conducted by dr younis kamal ( spine surgeon) and Dr basharat Mujtaba (neurosurgeon) for the first time in GMC Anantnag.
Patient is recovering fast in the icu ward ans in stable condition.
The surgery was conducted with highly qualified team of anaesthesia including Dr Zaffar malik, Dr Khalida and dr Hashim including Ortho OT team and anaesthesia oT team.
