Kim’s Convenience is one of the most beloved shows on CBC, starring a Korean-Canadian family living and working in Toronto. In reality, Andrew and Paul both hail from Calgary, Alberta. In this video, they embark on a tour of Andrew’s favourite restaurants.

Y'all don't get out enough. Every one of these other than Tubby Dog and the Ship are good date night places (I used to go to the Ship to get hammered and get Tubby Dog after getting hammered). Blanco has 3 locations in the city, I was just there on Wednesday. They're 100% on point about those nachos. Best nachos in YYC
Kim's Convenience is the best show on TV anywhere in the world. So great they're such fun personalities in real life. Great video.

I am saving this video to take my gf to all these spots. Born n raised in calgary but I have no idea about these places. I have been under a rock. Other than loose moose theatre, awesome shows when my old boss from talnea would host the ride against cancer shows or whatever they were called. Years ago now. Love that place!
YAY Calgary!! Mr Andrew was the MC a couple of times for our AAFS fundraising galas. Such an amazing guy!
My husband and I are from England and we've been to Toronto twice, Calgary and Edmonton and Calgary was by far our favourite ♥️ the people were so friendly and the city is beautiful, we can't wait to come back!
Hearing Paul's real voice just blew me away as much as the first time I heard Hugh Laurie's British accent! *boom*
Calgary is a fantastic city and this video definitely highlights some of the best places to go and have great food and really enjoy the city! Keep these food tours going...

So my dad went to high school (Bishop McNally) with Andrew and lowkey knew him (believe me or not, your choice, just don't hate on me please) and I immediately rushed to this video just to realize I've only been to like two of these places in my whole life of living in Calgary, lmao

They closed on June 30th. They say they'll re-open at some point but not on 17th avenue.

$5 for happy hour at Cibo (now closed). The improv group he speaks of was notorious for not tipping the staff. While they were regular customers, lets just say they were not preferred customers ;)
