10-4. I cant find a controller. Just have the diablosport one. There is a little green light mounted in the dash as well that occasionally lights up. I assume that is for when METH is supposed to be being sprayed?!
Yes looks like it’s probably activated thru the diablo sport ,which is indicated by the green light ..the downsize to it is you can’t adjust its flow wit the Diablo ..once it’s on its fully spraying ,where as with the controller you can have it slowly come on
That “boost leak” just sounds like wastegate flutter or compressor surge.. if it was a boost leak it should be very evident by a rich condition on that wideband
Ehh probably not..they just flutter like that sometimes.. barely noticeable if they’re inside the exhaust but if it has a wastegate dump you’ll hear it easily.. check for this by seeing if there is a small pipe coming from that area that isn’t going into the exhaust

Jesse, we are close in age I think, and I agree, it is so cool that these cars we idolized in high school are now affordable to us! I too test drove one of these and a Evo back in 2006 when I was a senior in HS and thought they were so cool, especially how good the exhaust was on a 4 cylinder! Also forgot to mention but LIGHT ME UP!
Your building too much boost in part throttle that's why its cutting up u have a aftermarket wastgate you should only build 5-8 psi unless your 100 percent in the throttle also these cars don't like full boost under 3k rpm
Srt4 notes: Stock turbo, motor blue bov plate, it's got turbo flutter since it has an agp wategate(look up ptb), looks like an old borla exhaust, it's not overheating that's pretty normal, ngk 4306 spark plugs gapped at .036, stock injectors, shifter cable bushings, and the smoke from the exhaust on decel could mean the turbo seals are on the way out.
The stuttering, it needs plugs. Get a set of ngk #4306 spark plugs and gap them at about .040, and that “leak” is partial throttle overboost from it having that agp wastegate too tight.

That temperature issue you thought you were having, about it overheating is actually a normal temperature for the car. Especially in hot days in stop and go traffic. It does it all the time on these cars. I myself suggest you invest in a 180° thermostat from Modern Performance. They only run like $18 bucks and your temps will be much cooler. Also wouldn't hurt to get a Hondata Intake Manifold gasket either. That keeps temps down as well.
Also I can’t say if it has 400hp but it sounded like you were burning tires pretty easily getting on the highway, I could be wrong but I wouldn’t be surprised
It needs little fixes and you’re shifter cables are stretched same thing happened to me with same problems. Where you’re from they have one of the best tuners for that car get a normal tune and you’ll smack that 350z on a roll and dig buy a lot of car lengths your car probably no more then 270whp rn👍
Pump and tank in the trunk looks like a Devilsown meth/water injection kit. I have had two NSRT4's. They are great cars. The price just makes it all the better. The car did not come with mufflers but it did come with two large resonators two muffle the sound a little more. The exhaust definitely looks aftermarket.

Oh man I used to see these rolling around town occasionally when I was younger and wanted one so bad! These things, sentra SE-R spec V, Cobalt SS, preludes(own one now),and the saturn ion redline were all so cool to me and still are lmao
I had a cherry Ion Redline prior to starting a youtube channel. sold it with like 46,000 miles on it and it got totaled. There is a red sentra spec V on craigslist here right now that looks pretty clean.
Those are 100% normal temps for an srt-4 in phx brother. 195-215F+ is relatively a normal thing especially with A/C on, or racing around. (Also I live here too with mine, dope!) I saw you purchased an 180* t-stat, and plan to re-set fans for thermo. Yes that would work great for summers. But truth be-told the 195* oem t-stat is literally perfect all year, and especially helpful for keeping oil near 200* at all times during winter. (Peak performance temps for oil 200-225F) AGP is local for us, get their upper and lower pipe kit and fittings, their oem replacement direct bolt-on intercooler will probably shit on most ebay big intercoolers without sacrificing front radiator support. Lastly, if you're not on e85, we have the loves gas station that offers 100oct unleaded for sorting better combustion consistency and yield nicer afr mixtures and egt stability, mid-summer. Dope vids and nice pick-up, cheers.
Lastly, don't wot before 3.5kRPMS. we have large stroke engines and tiny fast-spooling turbos. You're lagging your engine and will literally blow it. You cant flow 15+ psi under 3k rpms. its just not possible. Consider which gear you're in as well. WOT in 2-3rd at 3.5k+ and 4th gear 4k+ rpms for safety. You've probably learned or figured this out by now, but learning out to drive a turbo-charged fast-spooling turbo properly for a larger engine is all about riding your atmosphere pressure.

@@therealjessescheel The loves station im referring to is located just off the I-10 going south towards Tucson. It's basically where firebird raceway is, same exit. It's a 10min drive from my area, worth it for a nice cruise and to fill up on some quality unleaded specifically race gas in 100oct form. That way we don't trash our catalytic convertors.
Never had a speed 3. The SRT4 works just fine as a daily though. Back seats fold, Trunk fits my golf clubs and signs for work. Wife and kid with her car seat have gone on quick 30 and 40 mile trips with me. All that said I think the speed 3 can do that as well so would pry just buy the one I could find in decent shape at best price.
I think it has to do with engine placement. the turbo and manifold are on rear side of engine next to firewall on the SRT4 instead of up front by radiator. could be wrong but that is what would stop me. Evo 4G63 sits correct way. That one seems like a more natural swap but I have never done one so no clue.
That looks slower than my stock srt4. Put it back on ECU boost control and get a stock wastegate actuator. The tranny shifting is probably the clutch pivot fork and maybe fucked synchro's from not fixing it right away. Also make sure the shift cables and clutch pedal are adjusted correctly, there are tutorials on the forums.
Thanks for the input. The actuator has been adjusted so hopefully allowing wastegate to release appropriately now. Been chatting with Darrel Cox about the shifting and he believes its the clutch pedal pivot. Part came a few days ago so stay tuned. Id be happy to race your stock SRT4 when the shifting issue is fixed to see if thats true. Would be good to know if its not pulling at least stock numbers. Where are you located?

Craig Lieberman is a liar. The reason the SRT-4 was not used in the movie was because it wasn't ready in time for the movie release. Fast and Furious 1 obviously it wasn't, way too early, and Fast and Furious 2, which the vehicle was supposed to be used in, had to pass up on the car because filming was done starting in September 2002 and wrapped up in early December of that year. The PVO team (later became the SRT team) didn't have the car ready in time. The srt team confirmed during chat sessions shortly after the release of the srt4 that the car, pre production or not, was not ready when principle filming began. It's really hilarious how they have one of the worst cars in existence, a third gen eclipse, an utter disaster of a vehicle that was unreliable and slower than a bicycle going uphill, and that A-hat Lieberman continues to push his nonsense.
I think by the size of the turbo It has an upgraded turbo . I had an srt4 05 tuned Man it was fun. Tons of torque . On a stock turbo.raced the hell out of it

I am 36 for another month or two 🙃👍 The evo's have stayed pretty expensive unfortunately. The SRT4's are a sick bargain though IMO.

Owned 34 neon srt-4s. Car has mopar intake, mopar bov, stock turbo, agp wastegate, sounds catless, stock injectors from what I can tell.
Its not even touching 300hp

Great video bro and stock srt4 will take the z and the eclipse if your a good driver other people nailed it tho mainly looks stock with agp wastegate 3inch catless and looks like water meth in trunk you would have to look up front see if the sprayers are installed but everything else pretty stock but really fun great cars I have a Eblue but it’s actually pushing 400hp lol

Waiting on the right trans am or corvette to pop up. I do look for specific cars but I only like to buy the ones I know I can make money on or not have them cost me a lot of money. If the channel grows that may change in the future but right now I can only buy what makes financial sense. I should of bought and hung onto the 30th anniversary trans am from a few months back. Just didnt want two cars with blue wheels 🙃

Craig Lieberman is a liar. The reason the SRT-4 was not used in the movie was because it wasn't ready in time for the movie release. Fast and Furious 1 obviously it wasn't, way too early, and Fast and Furious 2, which the vehicle was supposed to be used in, had to pass up on the car because filming was done starting in September 2002 and wrapped up in early December of that year. The PVO team (later became the SRT team) didn't have the car ready in time. The srt team confirmed during chat sessions shortly after the release of the srt4 that the car, pre production or not, was not ready when principle filming began.
It's really hilarious how they have one of the worst cars in existence, a third gen eclipse, an utter disaster of a vehicle that was unreliable and slower than a bicycle going uphill, and that A-hat Lieberman continues to push his nonsense.
