You can just undo the bolts and lift the back enough to change the plugs without disconnecting steering and power cables etc

Such an awesome little beast, living amongst greats like the NSX, Nissan 300ZX, Supra and RX7s. I really wish Mitsubishi would revive and modernize this, keep the Twin Turbo V6, make it mid engined and 4 wheel drive. Mitsubishi have forgotten they had something great and just forgot about it.

What’s that fourth plug/sensor called? Not the 3 leading to the spark plugs- that fourth one? The rubber gasket is torn on mine and I need to find a replacement. Just the rubber gasket or whatever it is.

The 6G72TT sounds MEAN...super underrated engine. The fact that it is trans is why it's underrated...it's annoying to work on and the timing belt is 6ft long.

i had a 260z same color here in cali. got it for 200 bucks off the original owner back in 07. still ran but was not as nice as this. sold it for 1100 bucks a year later cuz the carbs were so out of adjustment it would stall at red lights. watching this rekindled my urge to get another. great vid man

Whether stock or aftermarket tune, I wonder how the longevity is affected. An engine tuned for 60hp should last much longer than that same engine tuned for 90 or 120hp. Bet it’s a lot more fun though.
