    I have the RV45D and its been great so far. No complaints in the 4-5months ive had it. Anxious to put it to the test this summer

      I ran the RV45D and currently do. I really have been happy with it. I think you’ll be happy with it this summer.

    • @OXFOOT

      Granted it only gets into the 90s a few times a year when I camp so most I usually run it at is in about the high 80s.

      Yea we live down in springs and so we stick to high elevations during the summer. Not like we see many 90°+ days over 8000ft lol.

    Dang that's a slick fridge! I'm in the market for one. I'll definitely have to look into this one!

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      For sure. They have a lot of great fridges over at set power. I like this one but for me personally the RV45D without the wheels is plenty enough for me. However the RV60D Pro might be better for most people.

  • @CraigG21
    @CraigG21 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Without the wheels & handle of the Pro model, the RV45D and RV60D have the same length & width, just different heights.
    Been enjoying the RV45D model, but wanted a little more space so I ordered the 4V60D now too.

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah for me the 60 just didn’t work because I have the drawers but the 60 is pretty solid if you need more space. I’m kinda a lazy cook so I never have a ton of stuff to cook. My fridge is usually filled more with beer than food.

    • @CraigG21
      @CraigG21 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OXFOOT even more reason to need the 60 - more room for beer! 😉😜

    Such a dope fridge/freezer - really changed the game for our camping trips, roadtrips, and even ski trip last weekend! Can confirm it fits a full sized Lasagna tray. haha 😂

      Perfect for campfire lasagna!

      But yeah useful for way more than just overlanding.

    Wish I saw this before I bought mine… oh well, I’ll just use for beer I mean rockiness ratings. Great vid as always bud!

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I mean this one is pretty large. Could hold a lot of trail beers.

      @@OXFOOT very true, I bought a small one tho as my Jeep is small lol. Honestly, I’m not confident it’ll survive my wheeling. I bought one from BougeRV.

    SetPower is the best for the money by far

    • @OXFOOT

      I think so too. Haven’t seen a better one at the price point yet.

    I hears a gallon of milk will not fit in the 60 quart setpower. I think your video confirms this.

    Good stuff man! I've been using the RV45 after we last chatted. Total game changer without breaking the bank (AKA wife not yelling for spending so much on a dometic fridge) Have you done a vid to compare the Ecoflow vs Jackery or Goalzero?

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I only have the ecoflow right now, I’ll have another one of the same size soon and I can compare those but unless I had all three of those it’d be tough to pull. I’ll ask around and see if anyone I know is running the other two.

    Just letting y’all know if you’re goin through comments before watching, the budgetness of it is over 500$ so that’s still pricy but cheaper comparably to other fridges on the market

    • @OXFOOT
      @OXFOOT  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I mean it’s for sure on the higher end of their line but a similar one from a big brand would at least be double the cost. They have fridges on their site for way cheaper but with less functions like single zone only or smaller, etc.

    I hope you didn't start it immediately after flipping it on its side and upside-down....the oil in the compressor doesn't like that, can burn up the compressor
