  • In this episode we are joined by our friends at Maritime Expeditions to explore the beautiful depths of the St Andrews State Park Jetties. Great viz, plenty of sea creatures and a top-notch group of divers made this a dive to remember! Alex even came home with a dive-trophy. All of us had fun and we managed to get 76 whole minutes off of one tank. Diving (and fishing) is popular here so plan to deal with lots of company or go during non-peak times. As you'll see, any work getting here is worth it. How many species can you count? Leave a comment with the most obscure creature you can find. Our high-quality groove track is provided royalty free by Soundstripe and is best enjoyed with a good pair of ear buds. Song/Artists: Tropical Drink Umbrellas by Music City Reggae Squad. Bella Belo, Cloud Lifter, Peanuts for Pound Cake, End of An Area, and FTS by Sam Barsh.

    I fished out on the jetties a couple of times and was always curious to know what it looks like underwater. Thanks for posting.

      I use a Go-Pro hero 7. I think for better quality video, one could use a larger aperture, non sport, camera and get much better result. But go-pros are small and easy to cart around.

      Only one I saw was a baby one. See it at 9:25 - they are all over for sure.

    How deep were the lobster?

    • @tdplk2987
      @tdplk2987  18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @AngryChiropractor They were probably about 25 to 30 feet down. I think the deepest we got was 46 feet on this dive and these bugs were well above that. You ever get any lobster at the jetties?
