Service Connected disabled veteran here. I had 3 bones removed from my left foot and my tibial tendon shortened. Had a meniscus tear in my left knee twice.. Don't think the walk down those rocks is in my future but I am heading to Destin Army Recreational Center for a few weeks or perhaps a month. I'm watching your channel for tips. I have very little experience fishing in salt water since I am from Missouri. Thanks for sharing this. I assume the same baits might work along a dock, where a guy like me can hobble out.😊

The gotcha plug works. Problem is, you can't modify the hook like on spoons or other casting baits. I've used various jigs, lures, plugs...etc. My best baits for spanish are the ones that I've painted bungholes on and, blood lines on. However, without the right technique, you might as well call Captain D's for carryout. Wish they would put a concrete walkway all the way down that jetty. Brutal walk, but glad you had success!
