as someone who knows a lot about parasites in the animal kingdom I could tell that this was a parasite tanorian
Well when i first saw it it reminded me of the tongue eating isopod and here it took over the body . In the shiny the fish had turned white due to it bieng decayed ( my theory)
You should make the fish the scarasite took over as an actual tanorian
According to it’s entry it is a far away fish so maybe if we get to go fishing somewhere around the 5th or 6th gym we can catch it and the parasites first form which we can use parafright for

I say the shiny Scarasite makes sense due to the fact Parasite it'self could just blend in with rocks and later infest another fish kinda like camouflage. And the white fish part could be based on the White Sturgeon or Koi Fish.

I really love the idea of a parasite taking over a creature as a something you can capture in a creature catching game, I think games like pokemon or pokemon itself shouldn’t sleep on great ideas like this one
Have you not seen the pokemon parasect? It is a literal Mushroom that killed an insect and now uses the corpse to do whatever the heck it wants

I really hope that when we get guardian forms that scarasite gets one where it becomes bigger like a really creepy mermaid, the kind to drag you to a watery grave and the fish body is the tail
When I saw it I was so confused, because I genuinely thought it was a turtle at a first glance, but once I battled it, I fell in love
I honestly really love this design and that if the fish that is takes over becomes real it would be cool to see like a symbiotic relationship

I love scarasite i didnt get anything spoiled so when iw as in depths and it swam past me and i noticed it was a bug inside a fish istantly knew what it was and what you were aiming for ... Love it !!!

Honestly you should make the like fish part of it a separate idea for the future and there's a chance that the small parasite would be the tongue so it would be kind of a split evolution

So very glad this is confirmed to be based off of what I thought it was, very little else it could be based on but I think this design is one of the coolest concepts brought to life

The thought behind this tanorian actually makes me appreciate this game more and more because of the creepy but oddly cool design of the tanorian and the name and how you got the idea for it. It's literally just so fucking cool in my opinion and we need more creative tanorians like this!!! Also L Roblox for butchering all of the sick faints 😭😭😭

The death animation should play the animation, then wait like 5 seconds, THEN do the scaling down thing to ensure that the animation is actually shown

Tbh, when I first saw it I was literally on a call with my friend cuz I was doing the gym. I saw it and was like, "Hold up a second, this thing is based off a real parasite that eats the fish's tongue." I remembered it from a video I watched in my science class.

topia changed it so it’s now all in abyss, and it’s 30% chance to spawn, when it does spawn it will spawn in 1 of 4 places, either of the 2 “chambers” to the left and right of the hall, behind the stone pillar in the middle, or at the very very end of the route
