Did you ever make the video showing how to boot windows to the new drive? Also, might be a dumb question, but how do you get windows onto the thumb drive?

The links for the 2.5" drives are Samsung. In the video you have Lexar. Does it matter? I have the Dell 15-3552 whose hard drive just failed. Need a new one. Love your step by step video.

Does not matter. Just personal preference brand on the SSD
