Ty for cleaning the river. and feeding the bush critters. I toss them in the bushes. also you are a vet so camping is half of that. thank you for your service.
The last time I walked the banks of the Deschutes River like you are doing I got nailed on the leg by a rattle snake. My snake proof chaps save me. The snake made no noise and was laying in the tall grass by a well-used trail. This is the second time my snake proof chaps save me from snake bit. The other rattle snake was on the riverbank of the Klickitat and that snake also made no warning noise. This time I did everything right and still was bitten. The snake was laying under a log then even when I tapped the log with a stick then stepped over yep it nipped me and scared the crap out of me. The snake proof leg chap it nipped show the wet venom spots. You are fishing some really bad rattle snake riverbanks. I never walk in snake country without wearing my snake chaps. Long ago I guided jet boat fishing trips on the Deschutes R.
Love your videos you seem like a real down-to-earth guy if somebody I fish with had a question and I understand you not wanting to give away the location you're fishing at but can you tell us what body of water you're on still great videos you're living The Sweet Life God bless
I love this series!!❤ I watch it every time to hype me up just before heading out on camping trips or before I start my fishing season! Plus, you're the reason I'll be getting a Nissan Armada! Lol 😆 🤣
@AnglingAddictsPNW well, I didn't get an Armada but decided that the Pathfinder would be just as good. Same body design, too. Haha All good, bro. Thanks again for the amazing videos you've posted.
Its great to see you fishing a bunch of my favorite spots! 🙏🏻 That first reservoir is full of Bull Trout and they like Brown trout rapalas. That last reservoir is almost in my back yard, I use anything gold in there, particularly spinners. Lots of big Browns, Rainbows, kokanee and Largemouth!
Hey Nick, what's up brother! Too much surf casting really irritated my brachialis muscle, so I've had to take a little break from fishing to let it subside. Grrrr ... not fishing has been driving me CRAZY. The FOMO is just crushing. But I was stoked to come across your long-format video here!! I'll look forward to watching it in full this evening. I'm sure it's going to be awesome.
It’s a Coleman. I think I paid almost $100 for it. I ended up picking up two so I could zip them together when I went camping with my GF. It is a warm sleeping bag for sure. I picked them up at Bi-Mart. I didn’t see the same one on Amazon when I looked
Thank You, Going from the smaller trout in the beginning to finding nothing but fatties was definitely a nice treat. It's crazy to look back at this knowing how it ends, but in the beginning i didn't know exactly where i was going and didn't have much of a plan, I was just crossing my fingers that i could come up with some content along the way. I enjoyed the whole trip, but my last couple days were some of the most spectacular trout fishing i've ever done!
Angling Addicts PNW bro you should make a trip up to the Seattle area and come chase some pink salmon with me. They are in thick. Limited out this morning in a hour.
Angling Addicts PNW they will be still catching for the next couple weeks. The puyallup river has been putting out lots of nice fish, limited yesterday in a hour! The green hasn’t really gotten hot yet, still only the lower river is open at the moment. After September 15th more river opens and gives us access to some awesome spots. We got lots of time to chase pinks over the next 3 weeks.
Glad to hear it! I never like missing out on opportunities in new areas. After the first week of September my schedule is basically cleared for fishing. Let’s make something happen!
Nick, this is my go-to channel to chill and relax at night. Would you be interested in a song about rivers in Oregon? My band is releasing one this year.
Thanks bro! That makes my day. I can’t wait to do more trips like these this Spring/Summer. I’d totally be interested in your band’s song. In fact, anything that could be useable in my videos and help you guys out as well.
Thanks Kevin! i had to look them up when i got home. The first video location is the only place i didn't see them during the trip. I wish i would have thought about fishing with them a bit earlier! It was interesting to see that they are only around as moths every two years... either way, man were they cool......
@@AnglingAddictsPNW I dont know where you are but I sure cant keep my eye out from screen. Its really too hot here in Las Vegas but feel like I m almost there :-)
I’m confused. I already watched like 5 videos that had all this content now I’m re watching the same thing with a little bit of missing content. Idk man
It’s the full series, it says in the title. Some were waiting to watch the whole thing and not have to wait for each episode. Plus it’s content for TH-cam and potential new subscribers, not just the subscribers, that have already watched all 5 episodes… which I totally appreciate! Thank you 🙏 There will be a new video out on Sunday morning at 10am
Thanks for your service. Enjoying the videos - very inspiring! ☮
Thank You 🙏 I appreciate the support a LOT.
It still blows my mind that people even watch my videos lol.
