Hello Bryan, Dillon and Matrix, what a huge area to look for crystals in that is! I like the res ones best but I'm amazed at the different sizes and colours you both found there. Its wonderful how you explain how they are formed Bryan, and I loved the pair of crystals in the matrix which looks to be hard to find. I'm so looking forward to watching your next video sweetheart, I love the beautiful blue you showed us and it's a lovely green in them too. Mother Nature provides us with beautiful colours of all sorts and its wonderful to see so many colourful crystals. Thank you for sharing your adventures Bryan they are so enjoyable to watch and enlightening. Good luck to you all love and hugs to you Matrix and Dillon Mary-Ellen UK

Yes I was really amazed at the abundance of these crystals! And the different colors, we went the next day with that camping couple, and found lots of red and almost purple ones and pinks. I will be posting another video soon on that, hope y’all are doing awesome!

@@TheCrystalCollector we aren't too bad thank you Bryan. We have had our first vaccination and Terry is having his second soon. I have mine at home so the surgery will call me when it's due. The rates here in the UK are going down dramatically thank goodness though the Indian variant are causing some problems. Its stopped raining and the sun is shining and the birds are singing so after watching your video I am very cheerful thank you sweetheart. Love and hugs to you all and I'm looking forward to seeing what you find there next XOXO

There is no such thing as a "bad site" for almost 100 miles on both sides of the river. After a dozen trips, I have a 5 gallon bucket full of them. There are two Graphic mines in New Mexico. The bigger one, which is where I suspect you were, is in the Magdalena District, Socorro County just north of the famed Kelly Mine. The smaller one is way in the boonies far to the south east of Cooke's Peak in Luna County. The first was mining primarily zinc and lead while the second one gold.

That's awful close to some of the jello blue fluorite specimens found in Bingham NM. Less than 2 hours away it's quite a fluorite deposit & I highly recommend it. If you love blue gems as much as I do, it's worth the 3 hour side tour! =)

    • @TheCrystalCollector

@@TheCrystalCollector Hint #1 Dont let the female owner give u directions. You'll understand once she tries to tell u how to get there... Hint #2 There's a honey hole just to the left of the sealed off mine entrance where a mild overhang sits. I dropped a hole 2 - 4ft down & the fluorite on barite specimens were just pouring out of the ground at that point. If you find any small boulders, they're likely to have some great druzy formations on them & the colorful ore specimens are plentiful too. But beware of Jurassic sized millipedes!! Hell yes I had to run away from one... Happy hunting! =D

Back to the crystals. They would look so pretty all the colors put in a jar. But I need something emeraldy for my friend’s birthday. You make it sound like “just follow the breadcrumbs.” LOL! As a point of clarity, pecos diamonds, similar in shape to herkimer diamonds, are not actually diamonds, but quartz crystals. They both are beautiful in their own right, but are different in composition and hardness to diamonds, being ~6 on the Mohs scale, with diamonds a 10.

Hey y'all, have y'all ever been to Patrick county Virginia to hunt for fairy stones?? Look up Fairy stone park. It's supposed to be a vein that runs for miles. As a child we used to find them and then my kids. Best places is right around tree trunks. Just ask at the park they'll direct u. U go by yourself and do not forget to ask about the old gas station on 58 it's just the backside of the park. They even have camping and cottages u can rent.
The story of the fairystone is, back when Jesus was crucified the fairies here was so sad they cried and cried and every time their tears hit the ground they turned into crosses. It's a beautiful place in the blue ridge mountains. Y'all check it out!

I have slightly read about this location years ago, thanks for the reminder!! Need to go check it out! There is a spot in Georgia too for them. I’ve never been to either! Thanks so much for the information! And enjoyed the story 🙏

7:54 Just like that. And also that one about 4 inches away to the upper right you totally missed. So easy to get focused on a piece and miss the one right next to it, don't know how many times I've done the same thing.

I’m wondering if you worry about Matrix coming across a venomous snake 🐍. I have a little Shih Tzu myself, and I would be happy to take Otis out with me more often, but I do worry about the snake issue.
