Thanks for hanging out everyone! Hit that subscribe button! Whaaaaat! Check out this location if your ever get the chance because it’s epic! Lots of cool garnets here!
Hmm. Garnets are naturally prettier because they have more facets, and generally a cleaner luster. We have rubies here, and they all have a dull, raspberry collor
Garnet is one of my absolute faves. This is a treat to watch, garnet’s rich blood red tone is stunning and their patterns is absolutely mesmerizing. Love this.
When you opened the door on Dylan, that was funny. He's such a good sport. You are living your best life, the adventures you've been on these past months. When you showed Matrix startled by the fake dog... Matrix was standing his ground, small but mighty 🐶💪. Yet another fun adventure.
I’m happy that you had so much fun finding my birthstone. You’re videos are what keeps me going through this pandemic and it’s also a dream I want to see come true for me to one day go out and do what you do
My favourite is the heart shaped one Dylan found, it's a beauty. I could rarely see the ones on the ground until they were moved but they are so dark and lustrous that they show up so well against the matrix. You certainly were having fun there which is what you need after concentrating so hard to find the garnets. The views there are stunning Bryan, and the rainbow was so beautiful that is one place I would love to see. I likes the amenities at Garnet Hill, a lot of care has been taken to make it a perfect place to visit and explore. Take care and stay safe please my friends God bless you, Matrix and Dylan love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
How bad did your back and knees feel... I have been a rock hound, then my daughter and now my 2 grandsons... I feel blessed by seeing the hundreds of years in front of me...Thank you for bringing your joy to us while you also educate us.. Sincerely
My now ex and I use to take our kids there while on deer hunting trips. It was more rustic back then and the road wasn't graded very often. We would bring some home every time we went. We also had some great pieces in matrix. Years later, I took my husband there and didn't find very many. It was very disappointing because I wanted him to enjoy it as much as I use to. Glad you had a good time. Oh, and you pronounced Nevada wrong...lol.
The luster is incredibly but you have to absolutely love the crystal shape and geometry. One of the more exotic cubic crystal structures on these garnets
Something I’m super grateful for is that you give locations for new hounds like me to find great material! I’d love to spend a week in Nevada hitting different locations and I do love garnets ❤. Thank you for being such a great guy and sharing those joyful vibes!
I must say, it is pretty cool that you showed off that nice spot you were at. Gives them a little love and lets people know they can go and have some fun.! Love you guys.!!
There's a site with the same name in California about two hours north of Yosemite. It's an amazing site, and the garnets seem to be a little bigger there than at this spot in Nevada. You can also find other cool minerals like epidote and molyebdonite at this same location.
Hi Bryan, another great location with some lovely garnets. What a location and right place, right time, while the rain may have slowed things up initially the resulting clean up on the rocks looks like it made it worthwhile. My pick has to the double on matrix you nephew found, just a stunning look. Keep Safe & Keep Rockin
Those are some amazing finds!! I hope to find some garnets that gemmy someday!! At the moment I mostly dig mine out of schist but they tend to be heavily included similar to the ones at Little pine. Anyhow hope you are doing well out there Brian, stay safe🙂
You are the best i used to watch this in uk when i was 9 then my dad said ''ill let you dig in the back garden'' yhen after 30 mins of digging i found 1 tiny garnet
You found rabbit turds.! 😉😁👍👍 I love it, here in New Hampshire we have some pretty nice garnet but it seems a lot more light pink colored and more translucent.. the color of those garnets are amazing.!! Great find, love what you guys do, keep up the Great content.! 🙏💯😁👍🇺🇲
Wow loving those awesome garnets, they're quite large to. Good job you didn't put your boot on with the Scorpion in it. Did you see the crystals glowing when you used the UV light to fluoress the Scorpion.
I am soooo excited that you made this video!! I will actually be there this October 😃 thank you for all of your awesome videos! I watch Dallmyd and Dan Hurd as well 💜💎
This locality is defiantly on my bucket list if and when I can get over the to other side of the pond. The almandine Garnets in my collection where given to me by chemistry teacher (Mr Warren) way back in late 80's I think he collected them from river gavels in the Swiss Alps? Anyways being river garnets they are rough at the edges unlike the ones found at Garnet Hill!
Those almandine garnets are often worth more than the standard ones. I was shopping for beads (I make jewelry) and was slobbering over the strands of garnets they had for sale. I noticed they wanted more for the almandine garnets. I just thought they were ALL lovely!
Your nephew, during the course of your trip, has picked up your speech pattern. It's like listening to a duet recording of you as his voice is very close to your in sound & timbre. Fun! Duuuudde !!!!! No Waaayyy...love it. This is the trip of a lifetime for you both. Hopefully heading out to Ely after Virginia City's Camel Races in mid-September... Hahaha...sounds like Harry Potter and (Windgardium) "Levosatha"
I'm from a place called Fife in Scotland, and we have a little fishing village called Elie, said the same as the American one, and they have a beach called Ruby Bay where you can find red 'rubies' but are actually garnets ❤
Thanks for hanging out everyone!

My dad and stepmom live in Ely. Gorgeous area and lots of rockhounding and crystal finding opportunities as you've discovered.
Whaaaaaat? I love garnets, and these are gorgeous! Lucky!
Lisa
Whaat! a dodecahedron 😲shaped garnet
Awesome finds. The heavy rains made for great surface garnets !!!
Nice !!!
Kenny
Garnets, loved them since before you were born Brian.
We called them "poor man's rubies"!😁🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦
Never heard of "poor man's rubies" before😂
Yoi
Hmm. Garnets are naturally prettier because they have more facets, and generally a cleaner luster. We have rubies here, and they all have a dull, raspberry collor

I have quite a lot of garnet jewelry. Some I got while living in Australia. Not so sure if the garnets were Australian.
I really like the geological explanations and the periodic cleaned up shots as you find them, thank you!
Thank you so much for watching, yes I’m going to start doing more of that in future videos

These garnets are sooooo lustrous! I don't think I have ever seen this before. The garnets are spectacular!
Yes, that’s what got me to go digging, such a nice luster on these crystals! Thanks for hanging out and watching!
Great day for all of you. Love those garnets.
Those garnets are stunning! So lusterous! Especially the one with the two on the matrix.
Thank you for showing me not everyone is miserable. You made me smile and I appreciate it! 😊
Seriously you make it look so easy you find the them real quick!!
Love the one looks like a heart
Those garnets are breathtaking!
I love your positive attitude! And what an amazing, memorable experience for your nephew!
garnets never get old
Would be awesome if you would do a video giving the price of random Crystals and how you go on pricing them.
oh my god that garnet heart … that was incredible !!!
You seem like an awesome guy, having a blast finding amazing crystals. Keep living well my brother.
Blessing to you also brother 🙌🙏

Turn 44 just recently, yeah my knees , back, neck, everything is starting to slip, I guess that’s just part of it 😂
@@TheCrystalCollector 44? Dang you look 32 to me.. good health you have prospecting for these precious little gems.
I recommend knees pads from Lowe's or Home Depot! I use them and they make all the difference. ROCK ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
I miss going on adventures like this. I'd love to get into rockhounding more.
Omg this is amazing!!!! Thank you for showing us this beauty!!

That huge garnet in matrix looks like a profile. Great video.
Not very many people know this but when garnets mate they mate for life

Always be prepared during monsoon season. Also, I'm surprised how smooth they are out in the elements for so long.
Wonderful finds, super cool area👍 13:17 love it ❤
They are fantastic, great size too. Another great video 😊 💕💕
What an absolutely fun video! That looks like such a great time!! Ok minus your boot
I pull gravel out of a parking lot at work with small garnet crystals here in N Georgia but those are incredible.
I'm gem mine sometimes in Dahlonega ga

We used to find them in Switzerland when I was a child. We still have them somewhere. I think my brother had them. We call them 'grenades'
