Yes because it's backwashing the resin so it doesn't build up and turn to Cement from all the Sediment! Thank you for watching!👍

My question is when it is in brine draw for an hour. Why does the water keep running? Isn't it supposed to let salt bond with resin?
Yes and no, your right that it needs to bond but also it needs to clear out any type of Sediment that would other wise stick and clog and defeats the purpose of the bonding! I hope that makes sense that's the best way I can describe it, and thank you for watching!!!😊

I know putting that little cone shape filter is surprisingly a pain because the contractor and I were just trying to figure that one portion out for a while. Apparently you need a degree in engineering to put it in .
