    You could make this recipe vegan by adding soy yogurt, juice if you want, and agave instead of honey. It might not taste as yummy but it’s an option.

    I discovered that when bananas are going bad, just peel em, cut em into slices, and freeze them. Then, when you make smoothies that call for bananas, use the frozen ones, which end up giving your drink a thick icy texture. And you needn't even add ice (which would water it down)... Anyhow, your drink looks really nice.

      Absolutely, I sometime use frozen fruits (banana being one of the key ingredient for its natural sweetness) yogurt and honey as my easy ice cream recipe.

      Or why not freeze the whole banana and all and put the whole thing in your smoothie. Lots of nutrients in the skin......

    For me its 1 cup ripe papaya, 1 regular size banana and a 1/2 cup of low fat milk, blend it...taste good

    You can also crush the papaya seeds and add them to the smoothie mixture - the seeds are very beneficial to cleansing your liver and kidneys as well as your entire digestive system. (The seeds will get rid of parasites too😮)
    I always use frozen fresh fruits as they make the smoothies cold without watering it down with ice.

    Just made a smoothie with 1/4 of a fresh overripe mexican papaya, 1/2 cup frozen banana slices, a couple shakes of ground cinnamon, squeeze of half lemon, and 2 sqeezes of local honey in 1/2 cup of spring water. It was better than expected. To me, Mexican papaya has a weird taste to it, but blended with the other fruits made it tolerable.

    Papaya is a super food. This fruit is so underrated. Id put in banana and soymilk with it with a teaspoon of light peanut butter. My pre workout!

    Papaya is my favourite fruit at all times. In Asia there is load of it , I use it for breakfast in the morning mixed it with fresh mango fruit, dash of lemon juice. Absolutely heaven..

    You can be creative with smoothies. Try to mix & match.
    Instead of adding water, you can add milk, papaya & banana. And for extra effect add avocado.
    Or besides adding papaya & banana you can also add mango & milk.
    You can experiment. The choice is yours.

      Avocado?
      I see avocado as the Bland fruit vegetable on the Savory side and papaya as the blend fruit vegetable on the fruity side bringing them both together is something I can't wrap my head around but I'm curious about I might try it.
      But I'm more likely to add a rich flavorful fruit to the papaya like a coconut or a banana

    What 🤣🤣 do you do with the seed ? If the papaya is good to make smothie, what are the seeds good for. My gr andmother told us the seeds are good for worms and kidneys.

      papaya as a whole is good for us even the seeds, however the seeds are slightly bitter in taste, nevertheless I might try next time including the seeds in the smoothie. Thanks for the tips, your grandmother is correct however I dk about the kidneys though 🤔

    Consider adding spices either within the Smoothie itself or at a minimum to top it off at the end, spices such as: cinnamon, nutmeg, cayenne, pepper, and/or ginger.

      Thanks for watching this recipe and for such an excellent question, bio yogurt is normally made made with wholemilk it has live active bio cultures which givies this mild and creamy taste. I prefer to make my own yogurt when I can, using raw milk (unpasteurized milk).

    Is this good for acid reflux (GERD)?

      The short answer would be this smoothie should not give you acid reflux. Nevertheless if you eat something before or after this smoothie which might result in gut irritation / inflammation, then this smoothie is not going to help. Eating papayas can keep you safe from acidity as it contains the papain enzyme, which helps in improving digestion. Hope this helps.

      Hi thank you for your question, I think people with diabetic should avoid honey. They might be able to have a little bit of it depending on their blood sugar level. Just to be on the safe side I would say just have papaya, without making the smoothie and also monitor blood sugar level afterwards.

      Sure you can, I would suggest start with quarter cup just to get the blending process going and then slowly add more until the mixture is to your required consistency.

    Im so amazed about tenderizing meat... how the procedure?     If raw honey is an anti bacterial, would it kill the probiotics of the yoghurt?

      Honey is also being recognized as a potential probiotic, since it has oligosaccharides that can promote the growth of lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, in addition to antimicrobial components which can act synergistically with the probiotics against certain pathogens.

      Nope, no sugar was used. You can even omit the honey if you want as the ripe banana and papaya are sweet enough. Hope this helps.

    You can include the papaya seeds in the smoothie, they are good for you.
