    This week Sara Lynn Cauchon shares 5 Healthy Smoothie Recipes that are perfect for Breakfast!
    5 Healthy Breakfast Smoothies -- 1 For Each Day Of The Week
    Monday -- Yellow Smoothie
    ½ cup pineapple juice
    ½ cup Greek yogurt
    ½ cup frozen pineapple, diced
    ½ cup frozen mango
    1 banana, chopped
    1 tsp grated ginger
    Tuesday -- Orange Smoothie
    ¼ cup orange juice
    ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
    1 small orange, peeled and frozen
    ½ peach, peeled and diced
    1 carrot, grated
    Wednesday -- Red Smoothie
    ¼ cup almond milk
    ½ cup Greek yogurt
    ½ cup frozen raspberries
    ½ cup frozen strawberries
    ½ cup frozen watermelon
    Thursday -- Purple Smoothie
    ½ cup pomegranate juice
    ½ vanilla Greek yogurt
    ½ cup frozen blackberries
    ½ cup frozen blueberries
    ¼ cup cherries, pitted
    Friday -- Green Smoothie
    ½ cup orange juice
    ½ vanilla Greek yogurt
    ½ avocado, peeled
    2 kiwis, peeled
    1 handful of baby spinach
    Add liquid to the blender first.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Blend well.
    Store in the refrigerator for up to three days.
    Enjoy!

    Over the past year, I've faced some significant challenges on the home front. Balancing the demands of raising two small children while managing chronic migraines has proven to be more challenging than I anticipated. Unfortunately, the toll on my health has led me to experience tremendous burnout, and after much reflection, I've had to make the difficult decision to pause my video production for the time being.
    I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support you've shown me throughout this journey. Your kind words, encouragement, and enthusiasm for The Domestic Geek have been a constant source of inspiration for me. It truly warms my heart to know that my videos have brought joy and value to your lives.
    Please know that this decision was not made lightly, and I am navigating these challenges with the well-being of my family as my top priority. I am taking this time to focus on my health and to be fully present for my little ones during these important years.
    While I may be stepping back from creating content for now, I want you to know that I am not saying goodbye. I hope to return to making videos when the time is right, and I am able to give you the quality content you deserve.

      The yogurt is extremely unhealthy though -_- Food scientist aint allowed to say because big corporate companies like money but here it is: Anything with milk or grains like bread is SUPER UNHEALTHY and you should not be eating any of that... unless your vegan in which your intake is diff and you probs need to protein and stuff. Fats are healthy!!! Salt is healthy!!! the corporations dont want you to know that they just want you to eat more junk and unhealthy stuff so they get more money they even changed the food triangle to make it so people buy their horrid vile products that are super unhealthy.

      @@thelightsilent no,it depends,most yogurt companies add tons of additives to yogurt which makes them unhealthy but some don’t,Yogurt is full of probiotics and good bacteria which is good for our bodies.

    The motor underneath lets off a slight smell and it's a little loud th-cam.com/users/postUgkxCKuMxLnvr6fJd_M4SE-n7trcGj3zEUHq but considering it's size and how hard it works to do the job, it's sort of expected. I assume the smell will go away over time. Overall, I love this cute little blender. The extra cups and lids are great too!

    •banana

    •cook them whit coconut oil.

      Just make sure get it straight out of the coconut. Coconut water from the carton or can is full of preservatives and artificial sweeteners.

    For the Monday smoothie I didn’t have any of the liquid substitutes on hand. But I had lemonade and gave it a try and it’s actually amazing! For those who would want to change it up, that’s an idea!

    I have been drinking smoothie for breakfast for about 2 years now. They really give you energy that last throughout the day. Also, I do put my fruit in the freezer.

    Tuesday Smoothie: 284 Calories
    Wednesday Smoothie: 180 Calories
    Thursday Smoothie: 262 Calories
    Friday Smoothie: 377 Calories
    I'm going by the measurements in the description by the way, I think in the video she use 1 whole avocado for Friday but I'm counting the 1/2 of avocado as it says in the description. :)

    If you are trying to lose weight, be careful with some of these recipes -- there is a fair bit of sugar in the fruit and fruit juices. Instead of fruit juice, try coconut water, almond milk, soy milk etc. Adding rolled oats to a breakfast smoothie is a great technique!

      Jennifer W My regular isn't really a "make-ahead", but it only takes 3-mins to make.
      1 x large banana, 1 x tbsp LSA (Linseed, Sunflower, Almond), 1 x tbsp ground flaxseed, 4 x tbsp greek yoghurt, 1/2 cup soy milk, 1/4 cup traditional rolled oats, 5 ice cubes, (optional) 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, (optional) drop of honey, (optional) frozen mango.
      It's delicious and nutritious , but very thick! You might need to water it down slightly, but that smoothy keeps me filled until lunch.

      I was just thinking, in case you don't already do this, you could put the dry ingredients together in a closed jar the night before, put the banana next to it, and that might speed up your time by a tad. (Just trying to give back a little!)

I saw a pretty and healthy host in Health 2.0 -- a Taiwan Health programme, she will add in the 1/2 the nuts then at the last 5 seconds, she add in all the nuts so that she has something to chew and not swallow all in. Chewing is to stimulate the salivary and wake up our body to digest the food.

    Mmmmmm, I love smoothies - I have one every morning! I started using cold tea in lieu of almond milk or coconut milk. You get nice flavour without the sugar. I brew up a batch of tea and keep it in the fridge and have been experimenting with all kinds of different flavour combinations (and I've been frequenting David's Tea a LOT more lately LOL). Great vid!

    I'm not sure why this video has so many negative comments and thumbs downs? As a busy person I usually have toast, maybe eggs if I've made them ahead of time, and coffee on the go. I know I could definitely use some fruits and veggies in my routine. I appreciate your videos so much! I really need to prepare smoothies ahead of time. Thanks for the motivation!

    Just wanted to say thank you so much, i almost always stay awake at nights and more often than not snack unhealthy on sodas and other stuff. These smoothies are at least a healthier option and wont make me feel guilty about what i put in my body.

      Apple juice packaged has tons of sugar and can harm you with sugar crashes and cavities. Better off juicing an actual Apple or an actual orange.

      +Jennifer W. Nowadays the home made juice shoul blend the whole fruit in the blender and not the juicer ! We need the fibre of the fruit ! The Juicer is out dated. I threw away mine years ago. I never buy bottled or box fruit juice even it stated 90 % as they found out most of them are make believe fruit juice with essence, lots of sugar and colouring.

    I love watching this video! the way everything blends together gives me peace :) I love making smoothies on busy mornings mostly twice or thrice a week sometimes and I basically put every fruits or veggies in my refrigerator along with chia seeds, yoghurt, unsweetened almond milk and ground cinnamon or honey.

    You can try lettuce, cucumbers, kiwi, green apple, few mint leaves , grated ginger and lemon, blend it with tender coconut water...refreshing 😊 Another one raw mango, small green chilli, pinch of Himalayan salt and honey (optional) blend with ice cubes then dilute with tender coconut water or plain water to your taste... these are for summer to keep one cool n refreshing!

      If you bought our own fruit and freeze it you will save a lot or cut your fresh fruit every time or the night before, start with only one kind of seeds like flax seed, you may seep the yogurt, add any greens and you could be healthy.

      Same Elge, I get you 1000%. I think I hit a breakthrough. When you don't have a lot of money for the more expensive fruit, get canned peaches as your primary ingredient. I was shocked at how delicious this cheap item is in a smoothie. Then use bananas for added sweetness. Peel a lemon; drop that in. Get a kiwi; drop that in. Get orange juice and lime juice; put that in there. Grate some fresh inexpensive ginger (doesn't take a lot) and put that in. You might even add some powdered cinnamon.
      These ingredients don't cost that much altogether. And you can get enough of these items inexpensively to make a good number of batches before you have to return to the store for more ingredients.

      it's really bad to cut your fruit up and leave it in the freezer. The main reason you want these smoothies is because they're healthy and give you good nutrients. Well if you cut them up and freeze them, it only takes a short amount of time (like 2 days maximum) and all of the nutrients and vitamins are gone. So it'd be much healthier to cut the fruit up in the morning and then "water them down" with ice, or just keep the fruit in the fridge (uncut/unpeeled) so it's already cold.

      eatenangel depends on what exactly WHAT you're trying to store in your fridge/freezer because no two plants are the same and there are a lot of factors, humidity/oxidizing while slicing , sealant- is it properly sealed?, fridge at exact temp, & yes water aka humidity again in your container. Water is essential to some plants when freezing and others absolutely not and some fruits not all should be next to eachother....like apples next to other fruits with create a chemical reaction ....

      well, although that may be correct, I'd still reccomend to avoid cutting and freezing and storing fruits until you want to consume them just so that you can gain the vitamins and minerals every time

      I've been reading a lot and sweet smoothies are not recommended. This is like drinking soda, and the greek yogurt is just an excuse. Also, you're supposed to chew food to help your digestion. You will most likely be hungry before lunch time.

      Before, I ate bread and jam and I always felt kinda bad I was hungry two hours later. I tried smoothies and know I feel awake and full until lunch ! I usually put frozen raspberries, spinach (it's actually good), banana, ginger, chia seeds and water or apple juice :)

      Can you give the amount for each ingredients? I'm wondering how big your smoothies are, approximately. Every time I have a smoothie, I get hungry before lunch.
