I like that you actually stick to just the jump roping part of things. I know burpees and other workouts would be complementary. But sometimes you just wanna get a good jump in the morning and save the resistance training for later in the day. Thank you.👊
Yes I totally agree. I training is broken up into cardio days and strength days. Sometimes I will add jump rope into my weights sessions but I prefer to keep my jumping to straight jumping using AMP as I like tracking my results. It also keeps me motivated and focused when I am at the gym training.

So the boxer step and forward straddle...the difference is like straddle is a longer version of the boxer step...?
Something like that. Forward straddle is more of a split jump. The best way to practice new moves is without the rope.
