Worked great on my Ford Windstar. A year or so later My engine overheated and I blew the head gasket again. My engine oil was extremely low though I checked it a couple weeks prior. Upon inspection I noticed my oil filter was loose and leaking the oil out so hence the blown head gasket again. Using it again today and It seems to be working. I did notice my radiator is quite clogged and won't accept the amount of coolant required nor will it all drain. This could be the result of the blue devil or just an old rusty radiator. My thermostat was clean with no gunk upon inspection today so that is a good sign and data that differs from some others experience. If this seems to be holding up fine for the next couple weeks I'm buying a new radiator. Changing the oil sooner though. Enjoy the roads

This stuff works for real!! I tried blue devil pour and go at first and didn’t take thermostat out. I folled directions and let it sit for 50 mins but little did I know my heater core was clogged up and that’s why I wasn’t getting any heat in the cabin. So since I wasn’t getting proper coolant circulation in my system I drained it and then the next day my gasket tester kit came in the mail so I done a head gasket chemical test on it and the liquid turned green from blue. The kit works like this… You pour the blue chemical in the flask and put it in your radiator opening. then you squeeze the bulb and if the blue liquid turns yellow then you have a blown head gasket. Since my liquid turned green that told me that I have a small leak in the head gasket even after The 1st batch of pour and go blue devil. So I replaced my heater core and got my heat working and coolant flowing good then I bought the non pour and go bottle and took my thermostat out and followed the instructions carefully. Let it cool down and drained the blue devil and refilled with coolant and the used my gasket tester kit again to see if it turned green again and was very impressed with blue devil! My tester liquid was as blue as it was when it came out of the bottle!! So very impressed and as far as I can tell there is no damage to my car system and boy does it feel good to have my heat back at the start of this winter!!
I’m trying to do this on an overheated 2004 Buick century with a blown gasket. It only idled for ten minutes before I noticed the temperature was over 3/4 on the gage. I shut it off, maybe going to try and start again tomorrow
I think the bigger yellow label bottle is for v8s and the pour n go says it’s for 4 cylinders and v6s. And the yellow bigger bottle one you have to flush and afterwards take the thermostat off when running the product. The pour n go you can pour n with the thermostat still in. But both products your in for 1 hr.
Wish me luck im about to try this product, i have 98 honda civic , coolant reservoir boils i fixed everything except head gasket it doesn't smoke and theres no coolant mixed with oil yet it does overheat when reservoir tank overflows
Hey, how did this work out for you? I'm thinking of giving Blue Devil a try in my Ford Ranger diesel with the same symptoms as you - coolant forced into overflow bottle.
I love all your products!! I have a leaking fuel actuator! Expensive as heck to replace, was wondering if you have a product to seal those or any fuel leaks??!
Not the first blue devil product I’ve purchased and used. Question: with this head gasket sealer the chart on the product itself for how much to use was a lot different in comparison to he says in the video. I have a 2000 honda crv (4 cyl.) which has a coolant capacity of only 4.2 quarts. That’s only 1.05 gals. According to chart on the product I was fine with using really just about a quarter of the blue devil head gasket sealant bottle if my math is right. Here he says for 4 or 6 cylinder use the whole bottle! BlueDevilProducts what do you say in regards to this? I figured at this point I can always add more since I have the hard part all done (flushing system with stat out) since I have about 3/4s of the bottle left. I don’t think my leak (which I suspect was making it’s way into exhaust system) was real bad….
Thank you for this informative video sir. Is it safe to use a coolant wetter such as Royal Purple Ice before or after installing Blue Devil Pour and Go? If there is no head gasket issue does it stay dormant in the system and activates when a leak pops open? Thanks!
You will NOT want to introduce BlueDevil Pour-N-Go into your system unless you have an existing issue. It should NOT be used as a preventative. Regarding your question about RP ICE, Check out BlueDevil ENGINE COOL (#00207) as an option for added temperature control.
Fixed an 03 impala perfectly after mechanic said 3k for new motor or 3500 for new head gasket. Said we were stupid to try a sealer. Best $32 ever spent.
There's BlueDevil pour-n-go head gasket sealer, BlueDevil pour-n-go coolant stop leak, BlueDevil pour-n-go radiator & blocksealer. You're using for gasket so does it matter which one you use?

My Heater isn’t working right now and my mechanic told me to put it in the reservoir? You’re saying don’t do that, I’m on a 2012 Ford Edge Eco Boost 2.0 4 cylinder
Why do I need to add more coolant after? Is it always needed to add more coolant? After it cools off can I just add more to the reservoir instead of taking the cap off?
Wouldn’t it be best to perform this with the thermostat out so the BD treatment can flow through a cold engine? If not, what’s the point of performing the pour on a cold engine? Do you mean cold enough where the thermostat isn’t opened yet and or we don’t burn ourselves removing the cap? Does it work better/seal better flowing through a warm engine or a cold engine?
The product will work best with the thermostat removed. Item #38386 is the more concentrated formula that does require the removal of your thermostat and a flush prior to use. This item, BlueDevil Pour N Go, is designed to be easy-to-use so it can be applied with the thermostat installed but removing the t-stat would ensure best overall results.
In my case this product its better because on a 2013 chevy spark the thermostat cannot be removed by itself , the thermostat its part of the housing and without the housing there's no way to connect the upper hose and have circulation of coolant in the system.
@@BlueDevilProducts maybe you should have included this info on the pour n go bottle since there’s ZERO mention of “it’s best if you just go ahead and remove it”. You’re costing me time, labor & products!

I have a Lincoln with the 2.0 EcoBoost. I haven't had any problems, but I've learned these engines are notorious for gasket failure. Would adding this to my coolant work as a preventative measure?
If you guys are wondering if this is a lifetime fix no it’s not ! It will eventually ruin your water pump and over heat after a while this will only fix your issue temporarily not permanent.
Help here. Do i get rid of the antifreze flush with water then do i have to leave the blue devil alone 50 minutes or i put some water and blue devil idleing for 50 minutes. Thanks

So their are 2 different products i see...I would rather do the flush the system one and put in water and blue devil and let run. Instead of the pour n go product...what do you guys prefer? The bigger bottle routine over the pour n go?

Now I'm stuck just wondering who's right....the directions are very specifically telling me not to do that but my mechanic swears it's ok....HELP
So I don't have a radiator cap and you said to do it from the radiator hose how exactly do I do that into the radiator or going into the thermostat housing into the block?
Now I was only able to add 2/3 of the 16 oz bottle in a 2.5 liter size motor. It's been working ok so far but should I add the remainder at some later point or just count my blessings?

I do not have a radiator cap on my Audi A3 8v so I should pour this while the car is off and cold, let run for the 50min then let it cool so I can top off my coolant reservoir? At the moment my reservoir is below min should I top off before I pour this in? Will be doing an oil change as well even though it looks fine.
Since your vehicle only has a reservoir/overflow rather than a radiator cap, instead of pouring BlueDevil through the reservoir/overflow, with the car off and engine cold you should disconnect the top radiator hose and add the product there; do not pour it into the reservoir. It may be added into the hose or the opening on the radiator. Once BlueDevil has been added, reconnect the hose and start the idle from that point. You may top off the reservoir with fresh antifreeze or water if needed. The oil does not need to be changed if it does not appear to be milky.
Used this on a jeep liberty 3.7l after 50 minute idle we drove it as the bottle does not say you have to cool it back down 2 hours. It overheated no 4 miles down the road. When got back home. It was all in the overflow resivoir again boiling hot. Should I do this again and let it set after idle and cool before driving?
Wait you said a 6 cylinder needs a whole bottle but the blue devil instructions says I only need half a bottle for a 3 gallon cooling system..I got 6 cylinders but when I looked up how many gallons my cooling system holds it said 3.05..so do I use the whole bottle or half the bottle 🤔
I have a 6.0 diesel power puke do I have to remove the thermostat ? And drain the coolant I have fuel mixing with the coolant but not the oil Also it has an overflow or degas bottle how would I add it. Thru the area where the thermo was removed upper rad hose thanks. 😊

@antonio. Did it work?
We want answers Bang Bang? 😂
Chris-

@@BlueDevilProducts hello... I have an older car... 2003 jeep renegade V6 and I suspect a blown head gasket/cracked head or block etc im wondering would the pour and go be a good enough option or should I go for the more intense solution that requires flushing etc?
I don't have any over heating or physical feeling symptoms yet but I am noticing gas like bubbles coming into my reservoir/overflow that can get abit of a foamy look when accelerating... also I noticed quite an excessive amount of water " water is currently used instead of coolent " coming from the tail pipe " deff to much to be condensation " when I left the petrol station, it looked almost like around 400 to 500 ml of water on the ground which the exhaust displayed to be letting out.
I'm getting it diagnosed in a few days but I suspect this to be the issue...
Amy advice is appreciated thanks ✌
Ps also no water/coolent mixed with the oil to...
@@BlueDevilProducts ps also I did mention In an email that I have no radiator cap, so if you think this will be OK for me to use, do I pour it in the end of the radiator hose, that has the liquid go directly into the radiator?
And I currently have no blower/fan/ac... can I still use?
I'm wanting to use the one that requires flushing etc as I've heard it's more durable.
Pls help thanks

Real helpful man thanks alot
Since my liquid turned green that told me that I have a small leak in the head gasket even after
The 1st batch of pour and go blue devil.
✋ wait is this Gold berg brother lol 😂💯😎
Dude I miss him🎉😂
I’m trying to do this on an overheated 2004 Buick century with a blown gasket. It only idled for ten minutes before I noticed the temperature was over 3/4 on the gage. I shut it off, maybe going to try and start again tomorrow
Man! I put 1 in my 4.7 v8. It's working as of now. But didn't know I was supposed to use 2. What should I do now?
It still good?
Better o put less than more. Lot of people seem to complain about clogged termostate
Is it working good or u needed 2 I have the same 4.7 v8
Hey there, thanks for the kind words! No, we do not currently have anything to assist with fuel leaks.
If you replace your radiator that previously was repaired by blue devil do you need to add again if having overheating issue?
This stuff works I put it in my in my
Mercedes Benz thanks man 👍
Did let it idle for 50mins then let it cool down. How long after did you wait before you could drive it again
Their website is very informative.
Thanks!!

Will this stuff block up heater core passages?
Did you ever tried it?
No. It remains a liquid everywhere except when the heat from the gasoline in the combustion chamber hardens it to create a seal.
Question, since the Ford Focus has a constant flow coolant tank why can you not add it directly to the tank? Or can you?
Can you drive it after the 50 mi utes of idling?
You should let the engine cool and top off your cooling system prior to taking it out for a drive.
Good question
I'm glad you asked that's exactly where I'm at now!

Do you run the heat on high for the whole 59muns?
Do you allow the engine to cool down before topping it up with coolant after the installation? How long before you can drive the car?
You should let the car cool down for a couple hours before topping off and driving.
@@BlueDevilProducts it didn't work for my 03 subaru h6 3.0. I'm gonna try it again. Another 38 bucks
Why do I need to add more coolant after?
Is it always needed to add more coolant?
After it cools off can I just add more to the reservoir instead of taking the cap off?
@@camacholopez1657 so you can tell when it's full. I always top off through the cap (when it's cool)
Adding coolant should be included with the direction of letting it cool down for 2hours after the 50 minute process.
My heater core is leaking is this a good product to use
@@BlueDevilProductsso when do you put the thermostat back in?

Yea but pouring blue devil down the rad hose will let the rest of coolant puke out the thermostat housing if the motor has to be running?
Does it work when you have engine coolant leaking to oil system? Or just when oil leaks to the coolant system?
i wouldnt use this if you have coolant mixing with your oil. It will harden and cause major issues to your bearings an entire bottom end.
I used this on my 02 Ford explorer sport trac, checked the dip stick one day and it looked like chocolate milk so coolant got into the oil so I used this and it worked like a charm, so far I'm at 1k miles and it seems to be working
However I used head gasket repair not the sealer

I ssume we just wat Blue devil poured into the rad? Can I just poutr it in assuming it will go to both the rad and the water pump? Thanks in advance.
Yes, it can be added directly to the radiator by disconnecting the top radiator hose. You will want to do so with the engine off and cold.

So much bubbled out while I was pouring it in, is it safe to use another bottle if this didn't do the trick
Do I need to leave the radiator completely empty to add the blue devil? Or just drain a little bit the level to allow some space?
You do not need to completely drain the system. You can simply bring the level low enough so that you are able to add the contents of BlueDevil.
