I love porcelain dolls. I understand how most people find them creepy but I don't. Every doll was made and designed for everyone to enjoy and I've been collecting since 2021 and I currently have 17 dolls all of different heights, clothing aesthetics, different face molds too. I cherish these dolls and I wouldn't want anything to happen too them because of the joy they give me 💕

Hi, I have autism to. I been collecting porcelain dolls because it makes me feel comfort because I’m very lonely and I I’m homeschooled and I don’t have any friends my dolls are my friends. They seemed all to have their own personalities and looks it can be very interesting. I’m currently 17. Yeah some people do you think they’re creepy like my mother

I don't find them creepy I find them extremely beautiful , I've dolls from Victorian times and other generations I composition dolls , most of them in mint condition as they were probably the only doll the child ever owned , my mum and her sisters have kept their child hood dolls as they are treasured items I collect dolls from all era's and vast collection of rare black dolls these dolls are extremely beautiful especially the ones with the ethnicily correct facial features and hair but I've noticed in this day and age very rarely will a child cherish a doll the way my mum's and my generation would , I go to car boot sales and thrift stores and come across dolls of this present time in these places , that are pricey when new ether Thier a mess or still in their boxes , most of the time I pick them up for practically nothing and restore them redressing them , and sell them on to another doll collector who will take care of it , the our generation dolls seem to be ones that turn up the most , when i come across the black versions i really go the extra mile on thier hair useing fabric conditioner ,ill spend hours braiding the hair and beading it or use pipe cleaners to curl the hair using hot water it's really effective , i learned such skills from local african settlers who have came to Ireland to work and make a new life for themselves , thier children seem to hold on to thier dolls as black dolls seem hard to find , most of the african ladies like to buy the dolls for the children it's amazing the hair styles they do for the dolls works of art and even beautiful costumes of Thier culture really astonishing I've really learned a lot from these ladies ,

My mom had four girls, and all 3 of my sisters loved them, i was the only daughter that never liked dolls which my mom never did either, i am now 64 and dolls still give me the creeps! I believe they are all haunted but some are more discreet and contain it better than some, they are all creepy if you ask me!

The antique dolls are actually bisque not porcelain. Most with composition bodies. Some of the dolls you have shown are from the 1930’s and 40’s and have composition heads which were less breakable than bisque. I find it annoying when people refer to antique dolls as creepy these were loved play dolls for children.
