- A fun model train get together outside of Detroit MI! A big thank you to @trainmandan5578 Greg and The Detroit 3-railers for the invite, as well as hosting the event!
Was great to see other folks as well as enjoy their Lionel, MTH and other O gauge manufactured trains! A standard gauge layout was even present during the event! How cool!
That’s Why I Love Model Railroading Meeting and Greeting Different People And Not worrying about work so Much.

Man, there is nothing like the hobby store around my area. There are a couple small stores, but nothing like this.

Thanks for taking us on this great visit to Michigan and the Train-A-Palooza 2023, Zack. What a great gathering of O gauge railfans to see. I check in with many of them myself online. They're a great group to follow on their various projects, as are you, of course! Happy to know you keep MTH as your top-of-the-line train model. I've been a fan of MTH since I became reinterested O gauge collecting. Unfortunately, I don't have the income or the physical agility to do much anymore, but I enjoy following along with what you and friends in the hobby do when you post a new video. A great looking P2 Dreyfus Hudson you acquired! Looking forward to seeing it run on your layout. It's always a pleasure to view what you've been up to.

After seeing so many videos from Train-A-Palooza 2023, I have a new boost of energy to make my layout good enough to be invited someday as I'm here in Warren, Michigan. What a spectacular event!!! My basement flooding rebuild is nearly complete, so the BIG LAYOUT BUILD (10 ft X 14 ft) out in the garage should start soon!!!
