I'm just curious that you still haven't said or made a video about using the MotionCam Pro app!? This app is truly revolutionary and if used correctly, it can produce Hollywood level results just from your phone. I hope you're aware of it and are working on a full length video explaining the possibilities that android phones are now capable of 😊
I have the 10T Pro and the main camera's quality while great, the fov is not that wide. As soon as you put it in the extended arm of the gimbal, light bulb moment happened to me. I have a cheap extension arm and never thought of putting my phone in it to create more room between the camera and myself.

I was going to get the iPhone 14 Pro max but for the cheapest contract it was 70+ quid on three, to much for a second phone. This phone was 40 quid pm and I got a fast charger and free Bluetooth ear buds for free.

Xiaomi Smartphones really messed up footage when apply EIS. This is problem faced in all models of Xiaomi Smartphones.
I think you should change the title to "ultimate xiaomi 12T pro camera review" instead 'cause it gazillion times better than other top youtubers that do camera review/comparison..
Thanks for professional opinion. I have bought few phone's in last six months and they are not so good with selfie cameras. So, the next one is 12T pro or 11T pro, im not sure if new model is better actually.
It's definitely hard to rely on the phone's built in video stabilization! I think it's just right that you paired it with the OM6

Because I'm looking for a combination of Gimbal and phone if the combination you showed us has the well-known dji weaknesses that are missing when you have an iphone. Explain. Not manual, not slow... maybe I'm forgetting something. Everything else is ok. Did you try the tracking subject or person? I hope to see some response even though it has been a while. Hullow simon i have xiomi 12 pro 5g with android 13,will it be fully compatible with dji om 6 with all fatures like 4k 60fps,clone photo mode,gesture start and off,etc etc
When all of your budget goes into the one lense, but looks pretty solid. Although even on iphone, only the 1x is good, other lenses are pretty low quality as well.
Nice phone but I got more impressed with the DJI OM6 performance in this case!
In the settings you can find an option that says variable fps to compensate for light. Just in case you missed it.

When I import footages taken with XM12T pro to Adobe Premiere Pro, it's quite choppy, do you have any clue on what's wrong with the footages?

Top top phone!!!!!
You can set in the settings to save the settings when you close the camera or switch between modes. So if you turn Macro off, you're back to 4K30 or 4K60.

For a mid range phone, it has a very usable main camera
There seems colour inconsistency between @1:42 to @1:45. I had similar issue on my Redmi note 10 pro where i was shooting a video in an aquarium where the phone camera gave up on its mind ! 1 minute of video was with blue tint and other minute yellow tint that kept on happening so i could not shoot entire visit :( ! Absolute inconsistency ! Thats where i realised would pay more for an iphone !
So the DJI app is no good for recording footage? Best sticking with the native camera app?
Some of DJI mimo functions missing on all Android phones beside Iphone.
I just got my Xiaomi 12 t pro. I must admit the 200 MP camera was a major attraction. To my surprise, when I train the lens on blue surfaces eg fabrics, the colour turns greyish. Cheaper smartphone cameras don't have this problem. I wonder if it's a defect or just peculiar to this particular lens

All these supposedly mid-range, or even selected flagship are not surprisingly disappointing. Compare to a few years back Huawei P-series that still perform solidly. Not to mention, camera framework that's still suck, limited compatibility to most gimbal stabilizer.
Sometimes we have an opportunity and if the video gets corrupted, how do you respond to the customer? I think xiaomi's not reliable for serious work.
When you’re walking, feels like the video is dropping a few frames.

Yes. But I haven't properly tested it to see if there's any issues
@@SiHorrocks Try also MotionCam Pro if possible. The raw footage takes a lot of space but it would be interesting to see the capabilities of the sensor.

all android phones are limited on pretty much all gimbal apps

I did have an issue with some clips in Premiere. But they played ok using QuickTime. To fix it I exported those clips from QuickTime as .mov and they were fixed
