Aloha, John, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for your channel. I used to live on Oahu in the 80's as a young single guy and was lucky enough to live there again years later as a married family man. Hardly a day goes by that I/we don't think about the incredible life I/we had there. This particular hike was a favorite of mine in the 80's, along with the Haiku Stairs in Kaneohe. I hadn't done it since 1987 so watching this clip was like reliving it. Mahalo nui loa and keep them coming!

You've outdone yourself! What a magnificent video, Hawaii John! After lack of activity over the past few months, I'm nowhere near fit enough to do this hike, but this video makes me want to train for it. The best view of the Mokes and that side of the island. So incredible. It looks like the perfect day too- breezy to help keep you cool, and not too crowded. Those steep bits though- you definitely just earned a mixplate from Rainbow drive-in! ☺🤙🏼🌈 Thanks for another wonderful video 💐💐💐
I remember this place when I was twelve (12) year's old in the mid 60's. My buddies an I used to camp out in them. No graffiti at all then. Still had the gun turrets and the armor plates then but no guns! It was far out man!

That sign saying many dogs have died on that walk. What is wrong with some people are the that bloody stupid. I don't have a dog but it's basic common sence, never walk your dog during the hottest part of the day. Always carry a bottle of water for it and a bowl. I hope these people who have made a pet suffer have been prosecuted and banned form keeping pets again. Total dim wits
