When I lived in Hawaii back in 69-78 I think some where along that stretch was a nude beach. I never went cause I used to go the Hawaii Naturist Nudist Park on the North Shore it was pass Turtle Hilton. I know its not there , as I checked Google Earth only saw run down parts.
We've hiked DH but never gone down to the beach. Thanks to your vid, we'll be visiting this gorgeous spot on our next trip - when ever that is.. BTW, what is the rock/pipe looking thing starting at 39.11? Wondering if it's natural?
That is a pipe. You can see where they cut out the lava rock to have it lay in there. Although I have no idea what the original purpose of that pipe was. You see all kinds of stuff like that around Hawaii when weird stuff was done before anyone cared about the environment and safeguarding our beaches.
Very relaxing just watching the waves and sounds of the waves.
