You Sir are a God Sent. I purchased a Scout 80 about a month ago and with it, came a brand new soft top, made by Specialty Tops, which is what’s on that red Scout. It came with no instructions on how to install it, so after some research, I found out that Specialty Tops went out of business 15 years ago. I have been searching for 3 weeks for instructions on this top and ran across your channel. I screen shotted every second of your video showing the top and hardware. After 45 minutes, I had the top installed, thanks to you and the owner. Can’t wait to see the next video on it! You have no idea how much grief this saved me. Tell the owner I love his Scout! Subscribed!
Those break lines are damn near funny. Tuck up and away nice a neat. Up high like that it won't get caught on sticks. I can't believe no one else thought of that.
Park/ Emergency brake cables not connected to rear brakes. And why is the rear brake fluid distribution block like that. Metal tubes aren't made to flex like rubber hoses.

this is awesome. i drive an 800 68'. Just love it.
Can't wait to see how it turns out.
No flexible portion of that brake line is going to be a problem. Cool project.

I really enjoyed the video on the international scout 8 that is ready for LS Swap I can't wait to see part 2 of this project soon
That stock 4 banger will not pull you so you have to swap a LS engine in your scout 😎
Love this!
Holy rear brakes bat man
Holy wow! Those brake lines are insane. I guess they misunderstood the term solid axle.
First! You earn a cookie!
Brake lines can't travel there mounted solid 😆😂😄
Brake line in rear. Looks like steel to the axle and also mounted to the frame. There is no flex rubber hoses.
The brakes
That brake line should be affixed to the rear diff, not to the frame. Going over a bump will rip the brake line right out of the wheel cylinders!
Loved the video. More please!
Where is your business located?
We're in Washington State. Though we're not currently accepting new customers, our existing customers are from all over the country.
Is there a part 2?

What happened to this project! Very interested, I have 4 Scout 80s.
More to come soon!
No flex lines at the rear braked??
So did you leave the t90 transmission in it?
Those rear brake lines just ain't right.
What happened to the rest of this build?
We are waiting on a Roadster shop Chassis.
No flex brake lines to rear wheel cylinders (all hard line). No good.
152 probably or 196 engine?
Nooooooooooo!!! Keep it Stock!!!! There’s less and less all the time. It’s in good shape considering, why change it up😫
Another ruined Scout!
Exactly. These trucks are indestructible. They just need some TLC.
Haters are gonna hate. Thanks for watching and commenting!
