Man, I’ve had my eyes on the hydrasynth and chroma console since they dropped lol. Haven’t had a chance to play with either one yet but I’m excited for when that day comes! And the 37 key version of the hydrasynth is the called explorer 🔥🔥🔥

Hi man, could you elaborate for educational purposes? You mentioned your DAW is now essentially your MPC. And that whilst you own older versions of Ableton and Reason that you instead use pro tools which is considerably high priced - is there any particular reason?

Thanks for your question - I use the MPC as a DAW when creating or writing music and 95% of the mixing can be handled there as well. When I send the final stems to Pro Tools, it’s basically to finish the mix and master or add any additional sounds (if needed). I definitely understand that Pro Tools can be pricey, but this can be done in other software as well. I have friends that use Logic, Ableton, Reason, and the new Luna to finalize their tracks. I just prefer Pro Tools because it’s easy to use, and I believe the layout and its tools are well thought out for finishing a song. Overall it’s all about what works for you and helps you execute your vision.
