I agree with you. Klaus seems to be the best choice here while Dragi certainly will put up a strong challenge. Ursula most likely won't make it again as the President since her support has been dwindling for a lot of reasons.
Other possibilities: Valdis Dombrovskis, Thierry Breton, Josep Borrell Fontelles. Breton and Fontelles are too old but Dombrovskis is perfect. He is even Eastern European!
When von der Leyern was chosen to her position, the political situation was much calmer. It was easier to find a candidate that most could get behind. Now on the other hand, people are incredibly polarized. Even people supporting EU integration hate each other for reasons that don't even matter in the EU-context, so they let these more petty reasons to get in the way. But why I do believe Leyern should be changed, is because having someone for more than two terms in that position is too long. I think Iohannis should become the head of NATO, he is more suited to that since it doesn't even demand that much popular support. Draghi might be old but work as a stopgap before things calm down a bit.

I hope its someone that understands EU is a trade union , not a central goverment . We never voted for that , and i dont want it .
Draghi. He saved Europe and he clearly understands that what we call Europe isn’t dna but a “space of ideas and way of life”, a space created by the Greeks , made political entity by Alexander, grew with Rome and came to today through countless struggles.
This woman is evil.
Von der Leyen dimissioni subito!! Vergogna sopra tutti i limiti.
how to vote for Draghi?
Poland will not support her either.
satan himself could be an alternative...
Draghi is probably the best politician Europe has, but it's risky to use him for political seats like those in Commission, perhaps it is better to keep him as a wild card for emergencies
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

2:00 Czechia with its current government should definitely be "Leaning for". Saying that we would want a Commision president from our own region is pure, baseless speculation and frankly seems like a projection.
How about Macron as UvdL’s successor? Maybe that’s why he called the election in France?
Oh lord who would back him
France had a heart attack, vive la France!
Elections are not for president, he stays unless he resigns as well, but maybe he's hoping he made France so ungovernable that the right wing popularity will drop after they have a government
She work for America interest , sad for EU .
They all do. Draghi is as worse if not a greater disaster than this woman.
Agree with all, except Germany or French candidates!! Tired of those 2 nations arrogance. Many problems in todays Europe are the leader and former leaders of those 2 nations!! Specially: Scröder, Angela Merkel and Sarkozy!!
Angela 😡🤬🤬what pressure she put on Serbia to recognise Kosovo ,hope she goes to hell.
If the EP elections, as polls predict, have the EPP losing ground to more conservative parties. I except that ECR will become kingmaker. Key for Von der Leyden is support from the Polish PIS party, currently in opposition at home and Italy’s FDI party which is in power. If Von der Leyden has done a deal with Italy’s PM Meloni she should make it. If not, the EPP will need another option, possibly Sweden’s Karl Bildt or Ireland’s Leo Varadkar.
Viktor Orban
Boris Johnson . He s no principles either .
someone explain the math at 4:15 cuz that score doesnt make any sense to me
Super interesting!!
I think Draghi is the best choice , he has the experience, the credentials and ideas about Europe as a strong global competitor against the us ,China or Russia
Draghi takes the cake... He's the best pick in decades
I am planning to leave Romania after this year's elections, as it is going downwards year after year. But hearing that Klaus has a chance to get the top job in the EU, I suppose I have to look at a country outside of the EU.
Sună cam fatalist
Good joke as no one will be allowed to stand agais her as for normal
Regardless of political color, I think that the double mandate should be avoided in this phase of EU integration, indeed it should be forbidden for two consecutive commission presidents to be from the same nation, because it is important to make everyone participate.
When even Orban likes you, you know you are serious business.
Does anyone know the name of the first song in this video ? It’s amazing
Out of these people,Metsola seems the most likely
Hope no woman
Dears the problem is not Ursula, it is this eu. It is the eu oligachic system that it is not democratic. Everyone that will be elected will be driven by other interest than the one of the people.
When will the video of the Italian parties on the European elections be released? Has any information been released yet? Do you need help deciphering Italy's intricate political system?🤣
Shouldn't that be "but by whom?"
Thank you
How can Iohannis be an option if he's mandate only ends im Dec 24?
He can resign and go, he hasnt done shit here since reelected
But may God help Europe
Very good to change Úrsula von der Leyen😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Radek Sikorski should be the one.
UVDL should be jailed for life
KAREN von der leyen
I agree with you. Klaus seems to be the best choice here while Dragi certainly will put up a strong challenge. Ursula most likely won't make it again as the President since her support has been dwindling for a lot of reasons.
Get her out as soon as possible....
She needs to be kicked out of the EU Parliament now.😢
Hoopelijk valt de EU uit elkaar!
Ursula von der Pfizer
Dethroned ? she should be.jailed
Klaus the pro pro Washington DC? Another war obsessed? 🤦
Gives the old Dragui 🙍
"by whom" please
Other possibilities: Valdis Dombrovskis, Thierry Breton, Josep Borrell Fontelles.
Breton and Fontelles are too old but Dombrovskis is perfect. He is even Eastern European!
STOP - LOBBY - MAFIA
'dethroned' is a completely wrong term. Last time I checked she wasn't queen or empress.
she was d.u.c.e. or d.u.x. or in german F.ü.h.r.e.r.😀
Although Ireland see Palestinians lives are every bit as equal as an Israeli life, the Irish government have said that VdL's gaffe greenlighting Israel would not be enough to vote against her.
Ireland will soon change opinion....immigration arrived even there.
Von der Leyen is fatal for the entire EU: she has failed and is involved in criminal activities....😡😣
That's exactly what makes her ideal for the job.
And will she ever being charged for what she had done?
Von dar Leyen must be convicted!
Offcourse.
What the actual charges ???
@@franciscouderq1100 like mass-crime, fraud, you name it; too many of… obviously you’re a fan of her, aren’t you?
Anybody ok but not Ursula
By whom?
Put there somebody with common sense, accountability and abiding for the interests of the european citizens.
i will open a bottle of champagne if leyen step down.😅😅
Time Ursula takes off to oblivion. Backing draghi?
Europa nicht den leyen überlassen !
Dethroned? Is Europe allready a monarchy or better a dictature?
Good riddans puppet. Maybe there's a job as janitor in EU parliament buildings.
This aged liked absolute shit
Good Voking Riddance !
