Butchering knife was at it's peak in ds2. Was a little disappointed in ds3 already. Same goes for Elden ring. And yet my favorite and most used weapon through our all games
That last invasion was funny. Poor soul, getting rekt by the PVE, which is fair, those enemies are tough, I remember the first time I reached that area. But I think he had sensory overload and didn't know what to do. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Chase I know you mentioned you want to try some Wizarding soon, might I recommend an INT/STR hybrid build? Makes effective use out of Magic, Heavy, and Cold AoW's. Allows for a decently wide weapon and spell variety at 52 INT/40 STR, and the STR/INT spread gives both physical AND magic defense making you a somewhat tanky wizard, especially if you keep a high health pool
i was wondering. since chase is very great at swapping weapons mid combat.. why not have a dozen or more of the same weapon in your inventory, each one with a different AoW?
I've been using this weapon since one in elden ring and in DS3 hidden strait is it heals you with each hit so if you use two they both give a separate heal each so yeas they stack plus preludes charge is broken super healing op as hell
Don't feel bad there were a couple of hits that should have hit, but latency got ya. Also sword dance AOW has very deceptive range and damage. It seems those few times you almost got the hits you over committed a bit.
Duel Greatstars, (Arcane) with Raven Ash counter + Claw talisman, is a slapper and a clapper. Dragon boy, that doesn't spam flame breath, is my main build. Love the content. 👏
I have a suggestion for you. This might be a rather weird one and I am sorry in advance but. Could you perhaps show off "the sword of night and flame" BUT pair it with another sword (for example the longsword but with faith scale ash of war or other) that scales with faith (keeping the intellect at the base of 24) THEN Pair it with a different sword (longsword with intellect scale ash of war or other) sword that scales with Intellect (keeping the base faith at 24) Very sorry if this is a weird request but I am figured since this sword scales with both faith an intellect + the heavy and light have ashes of war that I just love. I figured to try and see what your mind can come up with just given these rules. Thank you again for the amazing series, you honestly taught me enough to survive getting invaded with all the weapons you posted! Keep up the amazing work! I guess it it pretty hard to measure, but the thing I MOST want to know is STAGGER. After that, speed as compared to comparable weapons. Thirdly, reach. After that, the amount of damage.
It's really weird, it makes me think it was an unintentional leftover from an earlier version of the weapon infusion system that the devs forgot about and never bothered to patch. It's the only thing in the game that is infused without having an Ash of War attached.

hey Chase, just wanted to let u know that the War Cry and Barbaric Roar are actually not that good on dex builds. it does still increase physical AR by 7.5%, but it also increases strength scaling during the duration, which is useless on a dex build.

Daggers are still shit, unfortunately. Passive poise makes them incredibly weak, and the first r1 has a shorter range than the first r1 from DS3.

This weapons health regeneration actually scales off vigor. I saw a guy do a 99 vigor build that was absolutely nutz

You can do a cheesy tank build by running a faith build and prayerful strike on that weapon

The highlander axe in the left hand and the roar medallion would also be a good combo with this since both boost beast roar/troll roar damage
