I like to imagine Link absolutely destroys everyone else they fight since sparring with Chase.

Yeah, I agree, the Banished helm is probably the best looking helm in the series and the color matching is much better.

This weapon makes me really miss Vordt's Great Hammer. It was my fave DS3 pvp weapon. The range on this just isn't the same.
Vordt's Great Bonk was always my go to if i went strenght the frostbite was nasty af on it
@@cr3izien392 the amount of times people would trade into it right after using perseverance and you gain a massive lead in damage. It was just a solid str weapon.
I remember when I went NG+ I grabbed Vordt's Hammer and was just stunned.
"I've been missing out on THIS THE WHOLE TIME!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!?"

I like how this slowly is becoming the saga of Link. A Hero Born from the dueling pits of Raya Lucaria, trained by the legendary Duelist ChaseTheBro.
Castle sol is cool an all but these new dungeon invasions are such a breath of fresh air. love the novelty of the traps and hallway shenanigans.
It's nice to see recurring characters. Definitely rooting for Link, and that duel with roc was intense.

Awesome video. The Flowing Curved Sword has a super unique moveset. It’d be sweet to see a showcase.

Wild strikes can be parried even on flails, weirdly.
Not played elden ring, only ds3 but I'm a big hammer fan and I wanna use this wep when I start playing, ty for the showcase
One of my favorite weapons. Reminded me a lot of Vordt's Greathammer from DS3.
You should check out Ornamental Straight Swords - paired swords with good damage and cool unique moveset
I really appreciate the weapons showcase and the duels with the weapons and amazed on how you demonstrated them but it's the invasion I known you for from ds3 and hope to see more then just 3 invasions that'd only lasted 2 minutes maybe I mean I don't want to sound like I'm bitching just I get to learn more on how you go against 2 players which happens when we go invading but love the videos and keep up the good work and hope to match in elden ring 😶🌫️

Rosus' Axe. i was using it today at lvl 70 and it was a pretty damn good time, i gotta say. not great with 1v1's but amazing at pumping damage out to careless ganks. lots of people just dont know how to handle it because they never see anyone use that weapon art. honestly very fun weapon.
It does a surprising amount of damage, that's for sure.

Hey Chase, Recently completed making my Elden Ring pvp Build using my Banished Knight build, He uses
BK helm
Commander Chest Piece
Bull Goat gloves
Bull goat legs/commander legs
My weapons switch around a lot but i usually use the Banished Knight shield with the Greatsword, Occasionally using the Commanders standard or the Zweihander
Strength Faith as there is the banished knight in Caelid who uses dragon incants

I've watched like 60 to 70 of these episodes and I don't remember seeing a loss. Do you not lose or do you just not include losses? If you do lose, seeing a loss shows the weaknesses of a weapon which is useful too.

Man, let me tell you. I am a recent fan of chase, i started watching his content from elden ring. And i watch his other videos just for the fun of it. He has a series on ds3 ascended mod hell mode, man it is insane. Like i couldn't believe what he was doing. Just watch it. And he has been destroying everybody on souls pvp for a looong time. I think he is not on his full potential now on elden ring pvp, wait one more year, when he gets to know all the movesets and spacing. I mean he is still learning, he learned today you can parry wild strikes. Then i dont think it is going to be possible to stop him.

I'm using A two handed Fire Infusion Greatmace with Flaming strike on one of my characters
(Greatmace is both thematically and visually my favorite weapon in the game. Plus it's actually really really good. unlike it's ds3 counterpart.)
It is a thing of beauty.
And I'm using Fashion Souls/decent defense at the same time.
Banished knights Legs and Gauntlets as well as the hooded Banished knights helmet and Champions chest.
Looks like a heavily armored barbarian. with mostly armored body woth exceptions to portions of the chest.
Currently only have 2 talisman slots and they are uaing the dragoncrest shield talisman and the arsenal talisman atm.
You should try lightning strike on Zweihander! It’s cray cray

@@Saggeran Chase is a very tough opponent, the only time I fought him nerves got to me and I played _badly_. That said I think you can be little more aggressive when you proc frost on him. He's going to try to be careful to avoid the extra damage or maybe use a bolus to clear it. Or you could throw a fire pot in to try to reset the frost if you think you can proc it again... firepots seem similar enough to Link's bombs. Either way keep up the good work, we're rooting for you~! ❤

I am a bit to much in the side of "Swords goes brrr" so I tried to calm myself here. I'll try to be less calm when the frost proc =)
The "funny" thing is that I have fire pot (And a bow too) since the start of the cosplay. I just don't use it because "Swords goes brrr" I guess... But I tend to use it more! =)

on the topic of bonking, i dont think youve done brick hammer, its a longstanding favorite blunt weapon in PvE, havent used it a lot in pvp so id love to see your take on it

Dude the ash of war that makes you flip and pancake an enemy gives you a free charged heavy and it's always a guaranteed posture break. I literally cheesed my way through so many bosses with that combo.

Very nice showcase today Chase. In regards to chilling mist on the great mace, I manage to get most folks to trade into the mist and strike with the weapon by mixing it up with regular r1s and rolling attacks. Thank you for another wicked showcase.

That armor setup is bar far the best looking "optimal" set of armor in the game. Scaled chest + banished knight helm looks so good.

Hi chase, I know it’s not optimal but could you consider using fire infusions on strength weapons instead of always cold?
I know there is no status build up, but the AR for strength weapons is usually significantly higher both 2 handed and 1 handed with fire infusions
I think the cold is usually better for invasions because he needs to stall for time against multiple opponents that can bait and switch to heal against him

I haven’t messed around with strength builds or pvp much yet, does anyone have experience using the weapon art similar to perseverance in ds3 and is it good? In Ds3 the great mace was one of my favorite pvp weapons, and perseverance was a huge part of that build. Now with all the statuses and weapon arts of Elden Ring I’m genuinely curious if it’s still good or if it’s been power crept out of meta
Lion's Claw is sooo good on the Golem's Halberd, not so much for pvp since they can dodge it fairly easy, but in pve it wrecks all kinds of shit.
