Can you talk about cost? How much total are you spending for the year by the time you buy the plans and the books? Also, are the Spanish videos an extra cost?
Hey! It really depends on how many students you are looking at and how you are sourcing your books. If you are buying used, you can get much better deals. Depending on the age of your kid, some books could be rented from your library since they are only used for 1 week at lower grades. I did not add it up completely, but if I had to guess, I spent $300ish per kid on top of the initial curriculum. Everything in the lesson plans are included except for books, so to answer your Spanish question... Yes, it's included ❤️
I'm considering a switch to Alveary mid year. I have a 1st, 3rd and 5th grader with only my 5th grader being an independent reader. I see you have a 1st and 3rd grader as well so I was wondering if you feel it is doable to read the daily assignments to two children, in addition to anything my 5th grader might need assistance with. Our days begin about the same time as yours but never end until 3 and I don't even get to everything that you are doing.
My 6th grader is my only independent reader as well and it's more than doable! 🙌🏻 My first grader only has one reading 4 days per week on top of what we do as a family, and my 3rd grader has 1-2 readings per day 5 days per week on top of family lessons. These readings are 15 minutes or less... Averaging well under 10 minutes typically including narrations. I have found the alveary's readings to be appropriate lengths for the time table recommended. My 6th grader sometimes takes longer on a reading than I expect, but while he's a good reader, he isn't a fast reader so the time table gets pushed a bit for him. Teaching 3 students takes 4 hours or less 5 days a week for me and that is with doing all lessons with my 1st and 3rd grader.
Wondering if there is a master shopping supply list or how you figured out all the supplies you needed? Any hand holding to figure out how to schedule out the week or know how many days a week to do each subject?
You may have said and I just missed it, but does the discount code expire at some point? I’m trying to decide on a few individual subjects the Alveary offers a la carte, but haven’t made up my mind. But I would love to take advantage of your code and make sure I decide before any potential deadline!
The code does not expire, but it is only available for the entire curriculum.❤️ I have a friend who started adding thing a la carte and the ended up just buying the whole base curriculum since it was more economical hehe...

If you do decide to go with the Alveary, I'd appreciate if you would use my link and the code will give you $25 off 🥰 it's in the description.
@@ThisDevotedLifethank you so much! This is very encouraging! I will definitely use your link if and when I sign up. I am very close to doing it! 🎉
I REALLY wanted to do Alveary this year. It looks so good. Is the Spanish class an additional cost ?
No it's included.
Everything is included in the base curriculum except for math. 🥰 The only additional costs are books! 🙌🏻
I am so interested in Alveary! I’m just so scared it’s going to be too much!! I have a 7 yr old and we are doing SCM.
As with my curriculum, you do not have to do it all ❤️ I have LOVED the hand-holding that the Alveary offers!
Wondering if there is a master shopping supply list or how you figured out all the supplies you needed? Any hand holding to figure out how to schedule out the week or know how many days a week to do each subject?
Yes! There is a master supply list, and each subject has a recommended schedule. Plus, they have videos and help with scheduling ❤️

Is there a way to move courses up and down with Syllabird?
What do you mean by 'up and down?' Just the order you view them for the day?
