If we exist in a simulation created by a being that also exists in a higher simulation, that would be really depressing. We are trapped on someones computer in another simulation and our ancients interpreted that computer on which our simulation is running as Brahman. 😢😢😢

I'm from a Western background but found my way to the Vedantic teachings. I see that the unified field theory seems to validate concepts of Brahman and once that 'light-bulb' comes on, so much follows. It makes sense that our ego keeps us away from direct experience and is the root cause of evil and destructive ways. It feels as if within these teachings, there is a path to liberation but once I start to recognise my own egos control over me, the task seems overwhelming. Still, I feel there is truth in this path and will continue to follow it, as best I can. Thanks for the video!

    I am Brahman
    Thou art Brahman
    All this is Brahman
    Eternal oneness and bliss.
    And this I am
    And that thou art

Let me try dealing with a question, that intrigues all , and everyone tries to answer it in their own way. The question, " who am I" .
Every one of us has a unique set of experiences , views and understanding, based on their birth and their life profile. This is under the compelling circumstances of transient reality , the change is absolute, beyond the control of existence.
Each of these sets of experiences are so very unique, that even a congenital twin or a Siamese twin , shall have a unique set of data , THAT HAPPENS ONLY ONCE , never to repeat , in the entire eternity.
Normally, when people say " I " , they refer to this set of data , and call it or understand it as " I " .
The interesting part is , this set of data is being experienced by an entity, the observer . There is a distinct difference between the observer and the observed . Normally people overlap the two and consider " the observed" as the " I " . That is the real DELUSION, the mahamaya .
The " I " is actually the observer . And this observer is SAME IN ALL , be it in a human or a tree or a stone . The observer pervades all of existence and is an UNITY .
      Aham Brahmasmi is completely accurate.

Whether Parsi, Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Atheist, **Body animating eternal Soul and Life giving Spirit come from Jesus with freewill choice...**
**Jesus on Creation, Big bang, Darwin's Theory and atheists...**
      Message to Prophet John Leary
      Saturday, December 17, 2016:
Jesus said: “My people, you believe that I created the earth and the rest of the universe according to the Book of Genesis. There are some people who believe in the big bang theory, but it does not explain where all the hydrogen came from to make up the stars. I am the First Cause of everything. In today’s Gospel reading you are seeing My genealogy from Abraham down to St. Joseph according to St. Matthew. In St. Luke’s Gospel you see all the generations from St. Joseph down to Adam, the first man, who I created. You have also seen Darwin’s theory of evolution, but there is no way that mutations can change the chromosome counts. If evolution was true, you would still be seeing changes in the animals. But there are no leaps in chromosome counts, because I created everything from the beginning. Scientists, who promote these theories, are mostly atheists who do not believe in My existence. I am still providing miracles for you every day in your births, where I create the life spirit in the soul of every baby at conception. There are so many things that man does not know about life, and when you cannot explain something in reality, you develop strange theories that have no proof. This is why you call the big bang and evolution theories because there is no proof. My believers understand that I am their Creator, and I am worthy of their thanks and their love for creating them. I love all of mankind and all of My creations, because you are My sons and daughters that I love enough to die for on My cross.”

God is inside of us through the divine melody known by many names across sacred texts-'Word' or 'Logos' in the Bible, 'Naam' or 'Satnam' in Gurbani, 'Anahad Naad' in the Vedas, and 'Kalma' or 'Kun' in the Qur'an. This divine essence is not distant; it resides within each of us. The 'Shabd' or 'Naam' is the eternal sound and light that illuminates our soul. @@ishwarkshirsagar6793 indeed. From every minute particles to huge beings like elephants.
From greed to joyfulness, from consiousness to illusion,
Everyone and everything which is and which is not, is perhaps a manefestation of brahman.
Samkhya states that the world is dualistically made up of purush and prakriti, but samkhya isn't able to answer the question, onto who created purush and prakriti, and why are there distinctions onto these two.
The answer to these questions are given by Advaita, which states that purush and prakriti are not different on its basic level. Purush manefests itself into prakriti. So hence, purush is the ultimate truth, whereas prakriti is a illusionary image of the absolute truth.
The 5 elements - heat, liquid, air, earth and space happen to exist. But from where? How does space exist? Space isn't prakriti, or is it?
Space is the first manefestation of prakriti (consciousness manefests itself into space, than does it manefest into gases, and than into heat and than into liquids and than into earth.)
It's evident that Advaita is simply an answer to long waited question of who created prakriti(visible existence)?
Even the question of existence of multiple souls is answered by Advaita, by stating that there's only one consiousness, which manefests itself as multiple different individuals. And so, it simply states there's only one reality, which expands itself into multiple souls and infinite matter and energy.
      In a way,
      Advaita is expansion of samkhya.
I'm still not satisfied with Advaita, simply cause it yet hasn't been able to justify or rather answer few of my remaining questions.
But, Advaita vedanta would be by far the most logical representation of reality.

Before watching further, my response is: The Real Light came out of The Real Darkness. This is a concept that human language cannot handle, even parables and poetry cannot help one out. Though, like all art forms, they are likely to help human incarnated (or incarcerated ?) entities further on their spiritual quest for (Self) Knowledge. Still, I guess that to fully comprehend it, one has to become one with the One Infinite One. And stop comprehending. So that the non-duality can (finally) speak freely, and become what It already was, is, and always will be. However, the Upanishads are part of the Hindu philosophy of the Eternal Order, while Hinduism itself is more a teaching of the Human Psychology; every Deity represents a part of our psyche, and we all possess them in lesser or higher degrees and combinations. The Hindu psychology is definitely the most intriguing, brilliant, captivating, detailed, (outer-Worldly ?), and so much more… “Work,” and study of the Human Consciousness in its several bodies in their intermingling, intertwining densities and dimensions, I have EVER come across. And I dare say: EVER MADE.
Now, let's watch the video. With subjects like this, Time will forgive me. Oh, and Time is not a (or the fourth) dimension. Time is a vector. Video…
[THE EDIT]: I watched the video. I was immediately reminded and compelled to share the story of the Hindu God, Indra. In fact, He is the King of the Hindu Gods. I hope that it makes clear that individuals only see, or rather create their own Reality. Reality is not The Truth. Reality is subjective, it depends on each individual interpretation (perception) of what they observe. The Truth, however, is objective. There is only One Truth, and It is passive, it doesn't move, it encompasses Everything and Nothing. Reality is a personal, individual experience. And sometimes we do see glimpses of The Truth, through meditation, dreams, visions, and even substances, although I think these "experiences" are distorted (my opinion). When we see glimpses of The Truth, we are often overwhelmed, literally and figuratively, in Higher Spheres. We have problems to describe our Experiences. We could make I.e. paintings, or music about them, or poems, to make them more understandable. But this experience is always "colored" by the observer, the persons who experienced it, and calls it real - Reality. Yet, it will always be a subjective experience. Every person who learns about the Experience, the glimpse of (a greater) Truth. Will we ever reach The Truth ? I guess this our innate Path of our Soul. Anyway, here is, in short, the story of Indra, the King of Gods:
    Indra as a pig
Once, Indra, the king of all gods, came to earth seeking pleasure. He chose the form of a pig because generally, in terms of physical pleasure the form of a pig is considered best. He found himself a beautiful female pig, married her and produced dozens of piglets with her. Over time, he got very deeply involved and attached to them.
The gods waited patiently in heaven thinking it was a short pleasure trip but when Indra did not return for a long time, they came down and saw this whole pig-business in progress. They tried to reason with him to give up the pig’s life and return to the heaven. But Indra was so deeply involved and attached to all this, he just grunted and left!
The gods then decided to kill one piglet hoping that the tragedy would make Indra realize his true nature and return. For every piglet killed, Indra clung to the remaining ones harder. Eventually, the gods killed all the piglets.
But Indra got busy producing more children. Then the gods thought that Indra’s real attachment was his wife so they killed her. Now he was greatly distressed. Soon, his pig friends and relatives suggested he take another wife. And the whole pig-business started again.
The gods were now completely at a loss with this and Narada, the wise sage who was passing by and happened to see all this said, “Why did you kill his wife and kids? His attachment is to his body. Destroy the body”. So, the gods cut his body into two halves and Indra came out and said, “What the hell am I doing here?” and returned to heaven.
The bondage with the body is deep. That is the source of all attachments.
    ________________________________________________________________________
    Essence
We get so attached to our body despite knowing that it is but temporary. The body which we cater to so much is valued only till there is breath in it. Once the ‘prana’ life force leaves us; the body starts decaying. The very body which was taken care so well; which had all the relatives and friends surrounding and attached to it; once there is no life force; immediately becomes unwanted to all. When there was life in it; it was ‘Shiva’ (presence of divinity) was there in it but when that prana leaves the body it becomes ‘shava’ (dead body). So we must remember this and not get attached to the body so much. That doesn’t mean we don’t take care of the body and neglect it. Yes, we should take care of the ‘vehicle’ (our body) for living a meaningful life and use that as a means to understand and realise the truth; but not get unduly attached to it. We have to pray to the divine to give us that understanding to dispel the ocean of ignorance in which we are drowning slowly day by day. So Shankara through this verse reminds us of the temporary nature of the body and advises us to chant the name of the Lord who will ultimately guide and help us to realise our true self.

      Message to Prophet John Leary
      Saturday, December 17, 2016:

Jesus explains GOD, The Most Holy Trinity...
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son
      John 3:16-18
Inspiration of the Holy Spirit - From the Sacred Heart of Jesus
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth, He also created man and woman in his image for His own glory.
God the Father willed this creation, which was accomplished through my word as God the Son, by the power or our Holy Spirit. This is the first manifestation of God as trinity, a mystery that has puzzled men for thousands of years.
God is pure spirit; God is one. Yet this mystery cannot be comprehended completely by human beings until they become one with God in the Spirit.
The whole of creation is the first compelling witness of the presence of God the Father, creator of everything that exists. No one can deny the existence of the creator, but men, instead of praising God for having brought them into existence, go about their lives offending Him and denying themselves the rights that He has offered them as His children.
Sin has become a wall between God and men, the darkness of evil stops the light of God reaching them.
God so loved the world that He sent his only Son, so that anyone who believes in Him may not perish but have eternal life.
I came into the world to give my testimony as the Word of God. This word is the emanation of the spirit that brings the clarity of truth; the light that dispels the darkness, the purity that takes away sins, the life of God given to men so that they can obtain everlasting life.
I did not come to condemn but to save. You condemn yourselves to eternal death when you live in sin, but I offer eternal life to you if you believe in me and follow me.
I am the truth, and I came to witness the truth about God. Those who acknowledge me acknowledge God the Father, and those who live in the truth live in me and in my Father.
I came to the world to awaken everyone to the realities of the spiritual connection between God and men. Being created in the image of God you are his children, but sharing the spirit of God you must live a godly life.
When evil enters man, the Holy Spirit of God has to leave. Then the evil spirit reigns in that soul until repentance comes and the door is opened back to God for Him to enter and purify. If men don’t repent and change their evil ways, they are despising the truth that calls them to live the way God has disposed, in fact, they are condemning themselves.
I suffered and died in order to pay for the sins of the whole world, to manifest the mercy of God that desires everyone to be saved.
As a token of reconciliation between God and men, the Father and I have sent the Holy Spirit into the world to accompany and to advise, to purify, to heal and to sanctify.
The Holy Spirit is the third testimony of God in the world since creation; it is the fire of our love, which enters the soul to give witness our presence.
Blessed are those who yearn for the Holy Spirit, they will be rewarded for their good desire.
Fire will cleanse the world, the Holy Spirit will purify with holiness, and the fallen creation will rise in the presence of the Lord.

Initially I too was very taken in by this explanation of God as existing outside of Time and Space. But further thinking led me to doubt it! Here's why
Our experience though limited, suggests to us that the aspects of universe like "Time" and "Space" and "Matter" are infinite. If we try to imagine boundaries for Time, Space or Matter we fail spectacularly. What can be considered as the starting and ending points of Time? What can be considered as the starting and ending points of Space? Is Matter limited? We fail to say! So we have to accept that Time is infinite, Space is infinite and Matter is infinite. By definition what is infinite cannot have a starting point. If we cannot imagine a start for Time or Space, how then do we say they have a cause?
Infinity is a concept we are able to infer and postulate based on our experience of limited elements of different types. And we are able to do it because of our ability to reason and imagine. We however fail utterly to wrap our minds around it!
If Space has no beginning, how can we say there is something outside of Space? So too with Time!
So to say God is something beyond Time and Space is an action like the postulation of the concept of infinity. Something we can do logically but fail completely in understanding
To say Time and Space are causeless, because they have no beginning is the same as saying they exist by themselves! When the fundamental aspects of universe can exist by themselves, for what reasons can we postulate the existence of "God"? And what would God mean in such a context?

@@Hrushikeshm85 The universe and consciousness are not separate entities because there is only One absolute reality. If we think of consciousness and the universe as being two separate entities, only then does the paradox arises that you point out. Quantum mechanics has now clarified that an object only exists when there is a conscious observer and the One consciousness observer is Brahman or Waheguru ji, all objects and the universe only exists because of this One consciousness. Time space causality are the maya construct of our limited mind/ego and body attempting to know the infinite. The infinite can never be known and those who know do not know and those who do not know, know It, as is proclaimed in our scriptures. Just as we can never see our face, we also can never see or understand the limitless unborn all pervading Brahman with our limitations of body and mind. Anything with form has a name and by virtue of form is subject to death and decay and therefore not real. Only Brahman is the absolute Reality without name and form. It can be contemplated only… neti … neti… The real or Absolute never ceases to be and the unreal never was as is proclaimed in scriptures… but it is good that you are questioning everything because this is exactly what scriptures tell us to do. Never believe in anything because that “belief”belongs to someone else. Only seek the truth and true knowledge only. The cure for darkness is light and the cure for ignorance is knowledge and not belief. Atma Bodha is a scripture that is worth studying… eventually Ashtavakra Gita, Avadhuta Gita and Mandukya Upanishad are easier to understand with help of a bona fida Guru. Bhagavad Gita and Guru Granth then become clearer and more meaningful…in the end God or the absolute reality is a verb only… experience the knowing.. the knower and knowledge are both not real…

The question of who created God is a response question from skeptics to the accusations made by theists. The discussion often begins with theists pointing out everything begins to exist or has a cause for coming into existence and this is what leads to the question from skeptics "who or what caused God to exist?" in following with the theistic line of thinking. The reasonable answer that theists give is that it doesn't make sense that everything has a cause so there must be something uncaused. Where theists become unreasonable is claiming this cause is an uncaused Being, where skeptics respond with why not a naturally uncaused cause like energy itself that cannot be created thus is uncaused? The other problem that a God introduces is what appears to be the necessary order of complexity, where all complexity that we are aware of, whether naturally formed complexity or intelligently created complexity all comes from simple beginnings with energy being the simplest building block of all that just exists uncaused. Should a Godly Intelligence/Consciousness exist, it is possible that this existence isn't infinite, that things occurred to actually form this Godly Being and it did follow the necessary order of complexity to arrive at Godhood. Humans have imaginations that can go far beyond reality or what is possible. Gods could be man made and a God could be anything we imagine and we have a history of a variety of Gods and Goddesses. Should there actually be a God, humans just haven't figured out a reasonable way to know of this existence. There are plenty of things to make a person speculate a God, but not a good way to differentiate between reality and superstition.

What a wonderful commentary, the philosophy that I follow is not from this world, but I see great familiarity with the Upanishad. Quick outline. 1. Starting with The Absolute which is Infinite Unbounded Consciousness. 2. The Absolute yearned for companionship thus creating the first of twelve Universes. 3. Each Universe has a God like Consciousness called Source. 4. After Source became awaken and understood what the father (Absolute)required from it, to experience, Source then created what you would call a net work beginning with creating an Oversoul. This OS would project itself into a sentient being creating a Soul, a Spark of God located between the spine and the Heart. This my dear friend cannot occur without divine Consciousness which is what we are. As you can see my friend their philosophy is very similar to the teachings of the Upanishad.

I too always questioned the Big Bang theory because of the something from nothing premise. Then I was reading that some scientists were not claiming it was something from nothing, but that it was only the furthest back in time that they could observe and it only explained how this one universe was created. Now it looks as though they are dropping the whole theory because of some data sent back from the James Webb telescope.

In western thinking we have the saying "Ignorance is bliss", this very much reflects the cultural difference (from Adam and Eve and the tree of knowledge). In Sanatana Dharma, the expression "Limitnessness is bliss" is used (Sat, Chit, Ananda), and knowledge is a way to understand this (as well as Bhakti, Raja and Karma Yoga's).

@@adhvaitha even if vedanta does give us answers, we can not know the absolute truth. We can never be sure of being able to understand the truth, even after enlightenment, simply.because we're still thinking and perceiving the information through brains.
So, it's unreasonable to inquire about whether god is or not. It's an irrelevant question, because it can not be answered.
We can feel god, but feelings are subjective, and can be corruptive in nature.
      Example :
These days every westerner now and then keep claiming to have awakened their kundalini, or have got enlightenment.
      Is everyone lying?
      No.
Has everyone experienced the same feeling which the enlightened souls experienced?
      Again no.
At this point, it's quite difficult and almost impossible to define enlightenment.
There's vagueness about everything. And this Maya is so strong, that it has even engulfed those who're of belief of have been freed.

There must be a way to bring our knowledge filled books sequentially to Sanatanis to know their dharma. Someone like you should put it out in the open for the Sanatanis to start the journey to understand the philosophy of our dharma by reading relevant books. I don't know whether I have put forward my idea properly. Sanatanis don't know their dharma. They must know it. The path to know is not clear. The path is to be made clear.

This is the question my ten year son asked me in 1994. I gave him Biblical explanation. He kept quiet and went away. A month later I found a piece of paper on which he wrote: God is a Concept. Before God was created, the Concept was created. And once Concept was created, the Concept created the Concept of God.
