As for "Holy Grail" of card tricks, I'm not so sure as most magicians who use cards (and really, are there any that don't?) typically know at least one ACAAN method. But of all I've seen I've never seen one even close to this! ...and I'm positive P&T have seen many other ACAANs than I have!! Absolutely wonderful, Noel!
Clearly the man has simply lost his mind and created a time traveling device. Not sure what's so hard to understand about that. He laid it all out for us.
"the small one killed the tall one, I guess if a man doesn't speak for 60 years, a man can break..." - the funniest line ever to be delivered on this show. The trick was also superb.
Same trick without knowing the location wouldnt be too hard to replicate. But with the location of the card it makes this a true masterpiece, cant even imagine how u did it trophy well deserved!
Any trick that involved letting the spectator shuffle the cards, and the magician not touching them after that, requires a very clever explanation. No wonder Penn went with something as bizarre as computer chips!
i've seen almost every fool us episode too, and this is one of the very few tricks that i have legitimately no idea. not even a possible guess. as a few other commenters have said, i loved the assistant too. and i loved Noel's smug look the entire time he was talking to P&T (i mean that in a very positive way). he was like, "yeah, i already know there is no way they're going to figure this out"
That was amazing! I watched the whole video with a huge smile all the way through. Wonderful trick, great ideas, smart humor. One of the best acts I've seen.

I know the expectation is for him to say “Puff” (the Magic Dragon) but that’s why the first part of the joke immediately made me smile on my first time hearing it. I get Steve I’d the punchline but that means that they were already thinking this was just a play on Puff the magic dragon and bit hard on that.
5:25 I kinda, sorta expected your future self to tell you that the trick failed or that he didn't know the card because he'd broken the time space continuum. Great magic, very entertaining!

once a while, very rarely, you find videos that always motivate you to keep practicing magic and that still gives you a feeling of real magic, even as a magician. For me that is an old video from Lennart green and definetely this one. cheers, mate.

Even without the entertaining packaging the act itself was brilliant. I can easily see how you knew which card it was - but the position? No way! And even if you hadn't dismissed the microchip solution, no chip would not be accurate enough to tell you the precise position. So I am really baffled. Well done!
The best part of the trick is that the flowers came back for the live conversation. The time devices behind (including Shrödinger's cat) also add a lot to the show :-) !
I thought for sure it was exactly what Penn was thinking. Gotta be RFID cards. But then you said no. I was so sure of the answer that my head exploded when I heard that. Bravo! Thank you for fooling me.
@@MikerBikerB he didn't say no radio was involved. But he did say that Penn can inspect the cards, indicating no "computer crisps" as Penn called them. Hence no RFID was involved.
This is by far the best ACAAN(ish) trick I've ever seen. The whole concept is amazing, it takes a trick that usually lasts two minutes to a whole different level. And yeah, I have absolutely no idea how you did this. Marvellous, greetings and congrats from Italy

Remarkable! I've been working on a similar effect for about twenty years. I'm really glad you fooled them, so in another twenty years when I'm comfortable showing my hands-off trick, at least this video won't give away any secrets! hahaha Nicely done, pal.
I also enjoyed the "Martee" app, needle set at 88MPH, with '1985' on the odometer, and there's the long equation behind Matt that ends with a DeLorean and a stick shift with 88 on it. All the clocks like inside Doc Browns place... How many BTTF references did you get in there Noel? :)

After a rewatch, I think I got the first part and have a clue about the second. Even because & despite of that, this has to be one of the loveliest routines I've ever seen :) Simply wonderful and heartwarming :) What makes this trick even better is your assistant. It feels so natural and casual, and it HAS to be. Else he would be the best actor I've ever seen :D

I'm sorry, maybe I botched that because I'm not a native english speaker and my phrasing was off :) What I wanted to say is that the trick becomes so much more refreshing and heartwarming BECAUSE of your assistant being the genuine article :) And don't worry, I would never spoil anything! The only time when I really injected myself in a speculation of how a trick was done has been on the routine where Penn uses the nailgun because over a 100 comments later people were fighting over things that were nonstarters, and didn't even consider the obvious things that nobody addressed yet. I usually pick up on things fairly quick and did a bit of magic on my own in the past :) I have great respect for the imaginative mind that comes up with the tricks and am not one of the ones who go through a trick frame by frame and try to analyze what they see. That's why I also tried to make my own tricks and not just regurgitate routines. Because often a trick is in the method, not the visible. Actually, knowing how a trick is done is often giving me even more respect for the magician and the joy watching, because I can fully perceive the skill and mind involved :) And to that I say; man your stuff was awesome and a joy to watch. I'm unlikely to figure the trick out by watching, and my hunches might easily be nonstarters. And even with the hunches I'm not even sure if they are enough to unveil it. I am a fairly well-respected youtuber who has loved magic since i was a small child. I watched every magician i could with my grandfather. I have absolutely no idea why, butt this trick actually moved me to tears. For a brief moment, i was with my grandfather seeing the most astounding card trick i have ever seen Point being, no matter who you are, how old you are, magic can elicit the most unexpected wonderfulness from deep in your heart. I've seen a lot of Penn and teller. Very few come close to actual magic. You not touching the deck at all blew me away. No wonder they were fooled.
