@@TopTierGamerManthat’s what I’m saying, I used this guy in Ultimate and have made some good efforts and combos with him and don’t see why he could still be D Tier. That’s at least a B or A Tier to be fair, I mean sure some of his Move-sets ain’t perfect but still you could really work with this guy by practice.

Snake has grenades that can damage himself if they explode on him, including if he’s carrying them. Kirby’s up throw takes opponents to the blast zone and back without killing them, plus he’s also invincible during the animation. That far up in the blast zone, if you get hit, you just died. So snake was carrying the grenade when he got grabbed and when he was in the blast zone during Kirby’s up throw animation, the Grenada exploded, killing him.

Also if you look, right before snake dies, his percent goes up. Up throw only does damage once you touch the ground.
