Their coaches were unable to force anything proactive on them, qiyana meta was the most obvious, jensen should have been given a chance - either you worldclass Qiyana or any other melee or you gone (excluding Akali). Xmithie was absolutely useless for those aggressive 2v2 mid plays so him going wasnt a bad choice, tho he's good enough to win games in NA in a team with silver one handed midlaner. Botlane focus wasn't enough. When that fell, liquid fell. 2020 They are so bad at drafting and individual performance it's like nothing seen before. Thought they gonna wake up and smash playoffs, now they deserve to miss it. It's just NA and they are shit, at this point they should just call it over and don't embarrass whole region just by walking to stage. 4 times champions, Holy shit...

As someone who doesn't necessarily disagree, I feel like you're making a lot of assumptions about things you can't know. You can't force them to be good at certain champions, even if it's evident they're the better choice. A lot of people hail doublelift as an amazing adc etc (Fyi I like him, he's the reason why I support TL in the LCS), but his champion pool isn't actually that great either. It's definitely not bad, but imagine a comp where picking a mage would be optimal, DL will NEVER (for now) pick that over a standard adc. These problems run rampant throughout most teams, even other teams that make it through world and I personally don't know what the solution is ngl

But this time it's wasn't just bad mid and supp (which POB and Olleh internationally really were), it was teams inability to evolve past anything than their standard which barely got them split wins. Edit:forgot they were actually able to have more styles, their Sona comps were pretty flawless, and considering how weak early Sona comps were, it was amazing they managed to beat teams like G2 with it (tho it was only RR), but beyond that specific comp they still kinda froze in time, going for superior macro, teamfighting, objective control, scaling...all that was rendered obsolete by very aggressive teams internationally

G2 plays though bot when the game requires it and IG play though bot more than top (although IG is a different beast because TheShy can literally 1v2 in the top lane and win) The problem with TL was, and is, that they are playing through bot and only bot and their bot is only mediocre in an international event.

Yeah they did the same when they said Evil Geniuses is the clear 4th team despite losing to 100T only 2 weeks ago, I know 100 Thieves haven't been incredibly impressive but they are clearly standing out ahead of the rest of the pack and there's a reason they've gone from 9th to one game behind TSM and FLY at T4, I think its time to start looking at them in a different light and getting over the fact that ego's are bruised from shitting on Ryoma pre-season
@@CKCleary 100T has one of the hardest schedules (C9, FQ, TSM, and CLULG). They are likely to go 8-10, meanwhile, EG is favored to win 3 our of their 4 matches left (They play C9, DIG, IMT and TL). If 100T can win 2 matches, I think they'll get some credit, but they've had an easy schedule compared to most teams.
@@CKCleary I mean they weren't wrong about how shitty Ryoma is. Many of their wins are just off Ssumday, and they do have a hard schedule. If meteos turns up I have more faith in the team, but having such a bad mid laner and support makes it awkward.
I wonder why it's taken so long for Pantheon to be picked up as an OP jungler... I hadn't played Pantheon in years but picked him up after his change last year and holy fuck is it easy mode. Lvl 2 ganks are easy kills, W instantly procs press the attack if you want to just dominate early, quick cast empowered Q can destroy multiple Champs (biggest execute I got was 3 Champs with one Q), and the E is amazing for diving. I've never gotten Mastery Rank 7 so fast in my life, especially in jungle. Actually getting an S or higher in every game. The only pitfalls I noticed was clear speed/ health while clearing and Nocturne felt like a hard(ish) counter. His late game is obviously not amazing for teamfights but you don't pick Pantheon to scale lol.
One of my friends always says “xayah doesn’t need rakan but rakan is reliant on xayah with the e dash range” but I felt like it was the other way around, I occasionally play xayah and he doesn’t play rakan so I always feel meh with her by herself, good to see someone agrees with me lol
its different tho for soloq , i think for soloq your friend is right xayah is a superior ezreal (right now) since its easier to play and equally save and powerspikes harder (more explosive). In competitive its the other way around like dom said you can play around rakan in any teamcomp but in soloq you can just play better champions that do the same thing.
TL's problem is now their identity. Xsmithie made the team because he was the voice of the team. Now without him they are a just a bunch of imports that fails because they have no synergy now.

Last few episodes there were problems with your analysis and ability to coherently string together sentences, but I was happy to give you a shot. This time I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any personality problems. When you opened the episode up by being such an asshole, I lost my shit since you were calling Dgon replaceable when you are byfar the most replaceable on the show. Also, I can tell that behind the scenes neither Dom or Dgon like you very much. Where do you think he's getting it wrong though? I actually think that Eika has been really bad and Xmithie has performed better than expected but it's not top level either. SOaZ has been reliable but not top either, and same with Apollo and Hakuho, so we have 4 players that are reliable but don't do proactive plays and one that is really underwhelming. That's of course not a team you want to be in the top of your region, because that means your region is really bad.

@@CKCleary 100T has one of the hardest schedules (C9, FQ, TSM, and CLULG). They are likely to go 8-10, meanwhile, EG is favored to win 3 our of their 4 matches left (They play C9, DIG, IMT and TL). If 100T can win 2 matches, I think they'll get some credit, but they've had an easy schedule compared to most teams.
@@CKCleary I mean they weren't wrong about how shitty Ryoma is. Many of their wins are just off Ssumday, and they do have a hard schedule. If meteos turns up I have more faith in the team, but having such a bad mid laner and support makes it awkward.

I wonder why it's taken so long for Pantheon to be picked up as an OP jungler... I hadn't played Pantheon in years but picked him up after his change last year and holy fuck is it easy mode. Lvl 2 ganks are easy kills, W instantly procs press the attack if you want to just dominate early, quick cast empowered Q can destroy multiple Champs (biggest execute I got was 3 Champs with one Q), and the E is amazing for diving. I've never gotten Mastery Rank 7 so fast in my life, especially in jungle. Actually getting an S or higher in every game. The only pitfalls I noticed was clear speed/ health while clearing and Nocturne felt like a hard(ish) counter. His late game is obviously not amazing for teamfights but you don't pick Pantheon to scale lol.

its different tho for soloq , i think for soloq your friend is right xayah is a superior ezreal (right now) since its easier to play and equally save and powerspikes harder (more explosive).
In competitive its the other way around like dom said you can play around rakan in any teamcomp but in soloq you can just play better champions that do the same thing.

Last few episodes there were problems with your analysis and ability to coherently string together sentences, but I was happy to give you a shot. This time I wanted to make sure there wouldn't be any personality problems. When you opened the episode up by being such an asshole, I lost my shit since you were calling Dgon replaceable when you are byfar the most replaceable on the show. Also, I can tell that behind the scenes neither Dom or Dgon like you very much. It is apparent with the discussions you have with almost every other league personality that you, in fact, are replaceable. I hashed it out with myself after the show. Hope this gives you context on why you are regarded in such a bad light.

Where do you think he's getting it wrong though? I actually think that Eika has been really bad and Xmithie has performed better than expected but it's not top level either. SOaZ has been reliable but not top either, and same with Apollo and Hakuho, so we have 4 players that are reliable but don't do proactive plays and one that is really underwhelming. That's of course not a team you want to be in the top of your region, because that means your region is really bad.
