Dom's podcasts is some of the only TH-cam content I watch these days. It's really enjoyable and insightful. I also recommend people watch his costreams with LCS.
basically g2 is magnus carlsen in a sense where they can make the opponent uncomfortable by not playing right to the book/blueprint and just outsmarting on the fly and punishing teams that just follow fundamental macro

i mean from a chess perspective i'd say he's closer to tal or maybe as a modern player someone like mvl or richard rapport, because carlsen in famous games and blitz does this a bit but mostly he just outcalculates you when you're playing against him, but i agree with the essence of your claim

Why? Dom has stated multyple times he thought Norskeren was good and played good in LEC regular season. He only bashed on him because of the tweet he made after inting at worlds. It wasn't even that he thought Norskeren was bad but the fact that Norskeren tweeted "I am happy and proud of my performance" after fucking up the flash flay thing is what triggered dom.
I love G2 , I followed Jankos from Rokkat/h2k , Vander and Jankos were the two favorite players from that team. Initially I was skeptical of the changes, but G2's current roster proved to be a beast in every single way , at words, in their own league. I actually think that mid matchup in Sylas vs LB, he isn't really a counter to her. To win trades and lane he has to go in aggressively a lot, and g2 drafted basically the best mid+jungle 2v2 in the game which didn't allow Sylas to be played correctly in this matchup.
If memory serves. I don't recall a worse performing mid in all of EU LCS. Why did NA pick him up? I don't get it. edit: even when Overpow self destructed he was still a clear level above Ika.
Misfits original line-up had Ronaldooo in midlane. The only reason Misfits is looking good now is because of Febiven, so I consider the pre-season predictions to be more accurate if they hadn't fixed their midlane.
Great show, love the format etc. but one criticism I have is about red background. Make it black with white keyboard etc. would be much better for the eye, it's too bright now. I know most people don't watch the screen, but if you have it on the second monitor it's kind of too bright. Thank you for the content!

After 3 weeks, the only classic clg excuse i can even try at this point would be : Are we the only team who understands what "spring split is irrelevant" means? Were not beating c9 or tl, so its experiment time. Try the 1-3-1, try the reksai olaf, try the senna tahm kench and the kayle lucian. It litterally doesnt matter. Actually, why are other teams not trying crazy shit like us? But like i said, im not delusional. Im aware even this is stretching excuses thin asf

Hylissang, Powerofevil and Vizicsacsi. But I always thought Kikis together with PoE were the exclusive studs on that lineup. After qualifying for LCS 2015 they knocked out the 1st place regional season finisher SK gaming in the semi, which I remember was huge because SK was on a tear that spring split. It was the season when Forgiven got MVP. They lost to Fnatic in a close finals, in their first split, giving them a good chance to qualify for worlds with the cp. But then randomly (to me) Kikis left UOL in summer when worlds was at the horizon. If this was due to internal conflicts or because Kikis had some kind of hybris I don't know, but UOL ended up not qualifying for worlds because his sub was trash (pretty sure it was Gilius. Those two are inseparable). Kikis joined a challenger team called Gamers2 instead and helped them qualify for LCS (once again!) together with Perkz. Yeah you heard that right, Kikis got the G2 we all know and love into the LCS. In 2018 he also reinvigorated Vitality in the summer split, finishing 2nd and making noise at the world stage. Kikis have been integral for the shape of the league and it sucks he's been forgotten, so it warmed my heart at least that he was mentioned here. Wish Thorin would do a historical piece on him or something of it, even though he's not that acclaimed.
