As for The Distillers being better, that may or may not have anything to do with her being on anything. You dont know what she's been on, when she took it or in what quantities. Maybe shes strung out from being a parent, wife and working musician. Shes a different person now, and it happens to everyone who grows up, so the musics different. And like it or not, shes gonna play it. That's punk.

I believe the change in voice is from quitting meth and smoking, and a less intensive touring schedule if any at all
